Kylie might've had actual influence, but Kim never did. I'm pretty sure mommager Kris is paying millions to tabloids to keep Kim's name in their mouth - why do you think you hear their name so often in magazines, articles like Kim created boxer braids when that's a lie and who actually believes enough in that to create an article? They're not actually relevant and everything was just fake pr and marketing, selling an idea (why else would their first business ventures not do well, if they're supposedly popular? Because the actual fandom who likes and worships Kim is very small. And Kim is fame hungry so they try to stay in public eye by any means necessary. Admit it, things like BBLs were never set as trends by Kim or any of them, when Nicki Minaj and even Iggy Azalea were known for them and glamorizeing the bbl yeears before Kim got one. Stop buying the lies that they put out. They're not actual trendsetters (only the Jenners). Kim doesn't have any artistic bone or vision and nothing unique to put out and lead buy. Stop perpetuating lies that their marketing puts out and they'll fade into irrelevancy. The minute you stop mentioning their name even in these types of discussions of "oh I wish they stop being famous", they _will_ become irrelevant. This negative coverage is the only way they're even able to stay in the public eye in the first place. Do y'all not realize this? Every few months she's basically just licensing herself to a random company. I would say the exact opposite of this type of celebrity branding would be Jessica Alba's Honest brand, which at this point isn't even considered a "celebrity brand" but instead just a "brand" of baby care. not to mention that pretty much all of them have been called out for stealing from small black-owned businesses with major aspects of their product concepts. to name a few …. kylie with her camo pants and lip kit packaging logo, khloe with the jeweled body suites, kim with…..her entire aesthetic 🥴 i’m pretty sure there’s a couple more but i feel like i remember a slew of their product/business launches getting called out for copyright back to back. pretty messy and unoriginal for so called “entrepreneurs”.

I can totally get why some people don't like liquid lipstick, but I genuinely love using it, even if it's a thin layer to put underneath a regular lipstick. It is dryer definitely but I don't find them too drying and the way they last etc. is just such a plus for me.
@snipping.thorns9 ай бұрын
I actually love liquid lipstick, but it definitely depends on the brand. Some are very drying but Lime Crime has a great formula.
@whattheflameo9 ай бұрын
I like to put a bit of liquid lipstick on top of lip balm, you get most of the staying power without that dry feeling. You can also blend it into that ombré douyin look very easily

I have one non-liquid (solid??) lipstick which is an amazing colour but wayyy too cakey on my lips, so I mixed it with a clear liquid one and now it’s perfect. But other than that, I don’t really use the stuff tbh

I also really love using liquid lipsticks as coloured eyeliner too, (the dryer ones actually work better for this) although you gotta make sure the liquid lip colour is designed for that use, and definitely watch you don't cross contaminate stuff. But again, can work fab for some graphic eyeliner looks that are waterproof too. (Do wanna add that I never actually ended up trying any of Kylies so can't actually speak on her formula at all).
