Some times people who are angry with life , have just lost a loved one, and sometimes they just get bitter with old age. Now heading into my 70's I try to stay positive, spread a little joy, offer help if necessary, cheer people on who are involved in difficult tasks and never waste time being angry as we never know how much time we have left. Cheers

Great attitude Tim, being angry just makes us even more frustrated, not good for our health at the end. I am a very positive person as well, I try to see the best side of everything. Cheers

To tell you that I love this episode more than any other while on the barge is an understatement because this episode had me googling all over for information about the places you were. I learned today that the River Thames has 45 Locks (According to Google). Who knew?

I didn’t know that, I will count how many of those we have done. Thank you Jeff

"Angry with life": Social media reveals just how bad mental health conditions are, particularly in this country. You only have to flick through TT, FB and YT to see how seriously it is. There is gonna be no hope for the next generation unless they pull their socks up.

It is sad to see how some people live on these very old boats without any conditions. Somewhere along the line life went wrong for them and it’s hard to get up and go again if you don’t have the proper support. Cheers

Me again. Isn't Reading on Thames. I'm confused. I lived in London in 1979 - 80. And I had a office in Reading & off memory it wasn't far from Putney. Am I right or am I going mad.
@SailingOceanFox2 жыл бұрын
Reading is on the Thames and it’s at least about one hour and thirty minutes from Putney, not to far. My daughter came from Wandsworth which is just by Putney and that’s how long was the journey. Cheers Earl

I really despise these type of people, I am a peaceful person but when a person disregard and disrespect me it's time rumble. My question is living this type of life and this type of issue happens how do you report it? Can't wait for you both to leave that style of life and get back to the salt air and sounds of the seagulls the air and salt water is great for the skin but the sun is not yet i will take the ocean over rivers anytime. Peace.

To the Environment Agency that looks after the river and they encourage you to do but we didn’t. We didn’t want to spoil our day with someone that doesn’t deserve our attention. We are closer than ever to go back to the big blue. Cheers Juan

Please forgive me for saying, but you literally went from high class to low class, what your new adventures will bring are headaches and inconsiderate and disrespectful people that care about themselves and i personally would never lift a finger to that type of trash. I'm really happy you guys are heading back to real passages and having done so prior to what you do now you know what to do, how to prepare in advance, where to go and go and your subscribers will be happier. Watch out for the nuts, Peace.
