It needs the ECU flashed man, it has factory restrictions. The throttle blades don't open all the way to begin with and then they close up at higher RPM's that's why it kept bringing him down.

I own this bike and 17 and 18 honda put wheelie control in with traction control. in 2019 Honda made the 2019 CBR1000RR wheelie control and traction control separate. problem when you wheelie the traction control will kick in and slam the front down HARD. this isnt the problem on 2019 models. To wheelie on the 17 or 18 model you have to set TC to 0

1. Hold “Mode” button until the “P” section is highlighted. 2. Click the “Mode” one more time and it should bring you to “T” section. 3. Hold down the “SEL down arrow” and the TC should become 0. 4. Enjoy your unli wheelie bro. Ride safe ;) P.S. just make sure you are under the power modes section before you do any of the said steps. I hope this helps.

MAX I have the same bike here is how to turn off the traction control. You will have to repeat this process every time the ignition is turned off and back on. It can be done while riding, but not recommended. Step 1: turn ignition on Step 2: toggle to user setting 1 or 2 Step 3: hold mode button to enable changes to settings Step 4: toggle to T (torque/wheelie control) Step 5: Hold in the down arrow of SEL until T parameter changes to 0. Done. Be safe.

Traction control and anti-wheelie are tied and there's no way to completely turn it off. 1 is the "least invasive" ZERO is what you're gonna need to be on, on a 2017+. Your Bois gotta get his bike a full system and a tune, a full system will cut 9lbs and add 15+whp.

MaxWrist Gold - On the CBRs the ones that are all computerized such as 600's and up, the setting that's on there for "T" which is usually "TC" actually stands for "Torque Control" which is like traction. Basically what that means for the setting is, when the computer notices a tire slipping or off the ground it applies. What it does, you can throttle more all you want but the computer will be limiting how much torque is going to the rear wheel, which is what's causing you to drop down. I haven't watched the full video at this moment so maybe you figured it out. The modes of the setting for "T/TC/Torque Control" is 1-is the lowest setting, 9-is the highest setting, 0=off, no control. The higher the setting the more strict it will be on the bike allowing you to not do what you want. SO if you haven't figured it out in this video since I haven't finished watching it, next time you get a chance, turn "TC' to 0. In this video you have it on 1, so you trying to take off won't work, you are getting by with the wheelies since it's on the lowest setting. I know this because I have a 2017 CBR1000RR, not a FireBlade though the actual model for that is CBR1000RR-R SP, more horsepower than the regular CBR1000RR. I know of the setting but not actually doing it, I haven't done any intentional wheelies, not experienced

I have the same bike you have to go into mode to user and then hold mode and one of the boxes will start blinking press mode again and it will go over to traction but if you only press up and down on the arrows it will go from 1 to 9 on the traction you have to actually hold the arrow button down and it will click over to zero and traction control will show completely off on the screen

I'm not sure about the 17s but on the 2019 cbr1000rr you have to put traction control at1 then hold down on the selector button for maybe 5 secs and it goes to 0. Thats how you turn wheelie control and traction control off. Also on the 2019 model you have 2 separate options for wheelie control and traction control instead of having them tied together on the computer screen. So both need to be at 1 for them both to go to 0 when you hold down button for 5 secs.

Traction control wasn’t in the off position. I have this bike and you have to set tc to 0. This guy had it on setting 1. On zero you can do wheelies all day. Disabling traction shuts off the front wheel sensor. When it’s activated, the bike goes in lag mode. This guy doesn’t really know his settings yet. You have to hold the down arrow on the t setting as opposed to just pushing it. Also 1 on engine brake is the most engine brake so essentially full power would be P1/T0/EB1

Yeah the traction control on those is linked with the wheelie control... must turn off tc completely to turn off wheelie control. You gotta select tc, bring it to 1 and then hold the directional down button for a few seconds to turn it off.
