It is a Zulu song sung by Loyiso Gijana to raise awareness of Gender Based Violence. He composed the song during the lockdown period and it was recognised internationally. The song is a call to action for men to protect women because they were being killed daily and deserve the protection of men.
As UPYC we did not want to be part of those who keep quite, but always wanted to help raise awareness of such serious matters that affect the youth as well as the younger generation
