Not opting for Small World is kind of surprising, I thought those were industry standard for Madolche.

It was a standard because the deck hinges on petting but as we saw that one game on stream, imperm on petting with no followup cost him the game. It's why the vernusylph version nowadays is better since you go wider on monsters and aren't forced to rely on petting or small world. But we need the duck sylph from dabl.

Venuslyphs? I believe he can but he chose a vanilla build that focuses on consistency

@@christianvisperas7438 Venuslyphs arent in the tcg yet, and Venuslyphs if anything add more consistency and give the deck the ability to play through handtraps, something which the deck struggles to do on its own. But I do believe with Venuslyphs this deck can def see play as like a Tier 2 deck even. Considering he did this without them, going 9-3 in YCS is extremely impressive

There are no good earth targets in the meta and you're usually locked in madolche. It is a spellcaster you could theorethically make for secret village with a bad hand, but I opted not to play it.
