Well whether you go first or second, you wanna set up for your field with spell cards like Salon and Ticket or the trap Promenade (negates effects) since they can recycle your madolches when they are destroyed or sent to the grave especially if you have a madolche xyz like Glasssouffle (since her effects activates during either turn), Tiarafraise (who can bounce back cards). You definitely want to bring out hootcake or angelly to special summon petingcessoeur to special summon other madolches or messengelato to add spells/traps (only works with beast madolches like hootcake and the link). Essentially, you want to swarm the field with madolches and set back row with disruptions to bounce back cards that don't target making it easier to deal with cards that can't be targeted.
