Olá, Brasil!!! In this video, I'm thrilled to share my exciting experience of Madonna’s Celebration Tour in Rio. It was an adventure filled with unforgettable moments, one of which led me to go VIRAL! It all started when I bought a cone bra shirt from the vibrant Saara market in Rio de Janeiro. This shirt not only caught the eyes of many people around me but also the eyes of the Brazilian press. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and share in my journey. Aaron this was really fantastic! I’ve watched the concert a few times already and the drone shots are so insane of the millions of people it made me cry 😭 it was so beautiful to see the pure love they gave to M and ALL the performers. This concert truly hit different than all of the other ones. She spread total LIGHT and LOVE every second she was on stage. I’ve been to many shows BUT this one went straight to my soul. I felt like I was levitating the whole show 😅😘… love YOU Aaron

Thank you for this video and your great insight about the significance and impact of this event. It’s only fitting that Madonna closes this tour in Brazil-in the midst of Latin American culture. It’s really more than a concert, it’s truly a celebration of Madonna’s embrace of multi-culturalism, of inclusion, of tolerance/respect of diversity, of individual freedoms and choices, and her vision/advocacy for a more just and compassionate global society. I've been waiting for twelve years and finally happend (the last time I saw her was at the MDNA tour in São Paulo) and it was the perfect moment for me to know Rio for the first time and be one of the 1,6 million people to attend at copacabana's biggest world dancefloor . The memories of this concert will be with me forever. The energy was so powerful. We made history!!!!

We, as queers in Brazil, are still at risk, but Madonna's songs and art as a whole are always helping us to cope with all the violence. I traveled to Austin to watch the show (I had the tickets before Itaú announced the show in Brazil), but watching it in Rio was a completely different experience. Thank you for your love and support, and for being so charismatic and kind to everybody! And, of course, please, tell Madonna that queer Brazilian people are sooooo thankful for what she did! We are having LGBTQ Pride in São Paulo next month, and we plan to show up with the colors of the Brazilian flag, to show the far-right they're not the owners of it!

Correct me if I´m wrong but judging by your accent, you sound Brazilian. You´re probably one of those who spent years away, but a local accent is never really lost right !?

Interesting! I was actually born in the US, but I have lived most of my life outside the US. I am also an Italian citizen and have lived most of my life there. I'm sure my accent is different now because I speak many languages and talk a lot with people from all over the world. I have been learning Portuguese with many Brazilian, Capeverdean, and Portuguese friends, but I first started learning it with Brazilian fashion models, so I often pronounce things in a more Brazilian way, but sometimes a Portuguese way because I bought a house in Portugal.
