When I discovered this video I was very tired and mentally switched off. Then she started talking and everything within me stated vibrating and pulsating. 'Cause I am really on her page on so many topics. Thank you, Madge, for being the kick in my ass and for reminding me that every single tiny change MATTERS. I owe you a lot.

I THINK THAT FEW PEOPLE REALLY PAYED ATTENTION TO THIS INTERVIEW. LISTEN TO HER, GET INSPIRED... SHE'S NOT A SILLY GIRL TRYING TO CALL ATTENTION TO SILLY THINGS. SHE'S A REAL ARTIST TRYING TO MAKE A BETTER WORLD TO EVERYBODY AROUND THE WORLD. SHE'S NOT A SAINT, I KNOW, BUT SHE SEES FROM ABOVE AND THAT'S A VERY SPECIAL SKILL AND SHE'S CALLING ATTENTION TO WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS WORLD. THERE'S A LOT OF SHIT GOING AROUND AND MOST OF THE PEOPLE JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT IT BECAUSE THEY'RE LIVING INSIDE THEIR CONFORT ZONE. BUT WHEN IT COLLAPSES IT WILL BE VERY LATE TO COME BACK AND FIGHT. WE WILL HAVE ALREADY LOST THE WAR AGAINST MANIQUEISM, INTOLERANCE, CORRUPTION, WILD CAPITALISM WITHOUT ANY CHANCE TO FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM. HUMAN BEING WILL BE SO MUCH PERVERTED FOR THE LACK OF CULTURE, INTTELIGENCE AND INSENSIBILITY THAT THEY JUST WON'T FIGHT FOR ANYTHING. WE'LL BE PARALISED BY OUR OWN STUPIDITY AND IGNORANCE.

vaderlan Well I've got to tell you, I know you wrote that comment 2 years ago, I truly believe that in the USA where I live, a REAL revolution is about to happen to happen RIGHT NOW!!! However the hell Donald Trump somehow managed to become our President, a lot of people are getting jolted out of their complacency and just about EVERYONE wants to kick this jackass out of office, I can tell that even a lot of the Republicans can't stand him!!! And I really think this is going to start a serious debate about why the electoral college votes are the ones that REALLY decide our presidential elections and NOT the popular vote!!! We all know Hillary Clinton got more votes from everyone who voted in this country than Donald did. I bet Trump BOUGHT his way in, and if he doesn't get impeached or kicked out pretty soon, I swear I'm moving to another country!!! You're about to see some serious protests and an uprising going on in America, because he's pissing everyone off in one way or another. And I bet right now if Madonna decided to run for President, she'd WIN!!!!!

tHANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS.. I always hope when interviews like this with Madonna happen....where an interviewer has very very good questions and Madonna hates doing interviews that has her answering retarded questions.. so when we get interviews such as this one ...good questions, madonna anszwering thoughtfully and speaks eloquently people need to actually listen espescially ones that think she is nothing but a slut ho etc etc.....this woman is very smart , powerful , and is trying to make us think to wake us up because if she doesnt there is no one else that s going to ... please listen to this ... i dont know change her voice so it sounds like someone else dont watch only listen... we need to wake up... our world iand our freedom privacy and our individualism is being threatened and its going to be too late if we dont speak up we the people need to be one voice because it has to be loud enough to silence those in power even a little so those that still dont hear still begoin to hear and those who still are sleeping begin to wake up. its going to take us the people to make a change ... other wise we will contine to be dumbed down with all this nonesense and continue to get zombifyied by all the scary control techniques of the governement the surveillance etc.. think of our children and what theyll have to deal with if we dont change the world.. wake up

If an individual wants to build a home where house already exists he must first demolish the old and remove the debris And then begin to lay a strong foundation in order to erect his castle This is what has been happening under the surface It is happening with in us and outside of us Group that is pushing towards a greater good Is etching away at the structure that was meant to glaze over that was meant to beautify But a lot of it has been superficial and now we're dealing much deeper And we are expanding ourselves The war Begins within And then it is brought out and display for all to see There are many important matters Manage group of individuals who are passionate about these matters are coming forward one by one but the revolution it begins within us and we shouldn't forget The only thing we should leave behind is here cuz it is unrealized lack of courage comes from a lack of love first for oneself and then for the other We are now in great times of change and together we are that voice for the people for the planet for plant kingdom and the animal kingdom No one should back down any longer not before we have one and we will

Madonna is so much more intelligent, talented, articulate and driven than her critics give her credit for. Well, they would probably concede that she is driven. Nobody has a career this huge for this long without being driven. But they must be brilliant as well. That's Madonna. Regarding the complacency in the United States, I think many people are complacent, but many of us who are not complacent have become cynical and jaded because we know our representative government is a sham. They really represent the top 1% and corporations, not the citizens. In other words: MONEY! Maybe she is factoring all of that in as well, but is so optimistic that she is expecting us to fight to regain control of our country. Not with violence, but with expression and sheer numbers. Something must be done to reform this cleptocracy!

This has to be THE BEST Madonna interview ever. i love her input. She said things that are very true. She has an accurate way of thinking, not because she has been told to say that, but because she has experienced and witness the intolerance and threats of people for other people. She is simply fighting for the right of expression and human freedom in countries that don't have the basic rights. As simple as that. Good for her.

Being a yogi truly helps with life, did anyone notice the change in her post-yoga discovery? Like post-1996 she had Evita, Lourdes was born, her yoga practice began after baby, and Ray Of Light album was released in 98. It’s these events I think that are the real transformation, to Madonna we know and love today… but the yoga practice, and study of Kabbalah as well, I think is so reflected in the album Ray of Light and in her overall views. Those are the years when Madonna as we “think” of her “now”, and I speak from experience with the yoga practice. It can change everything, every moment you have and movement you make. The entire ROL album is a yoga class soundtrack start to end! _Drowned World_ to meditate at the start, all the way to meditation and relaxing with _Little Star_ in savasana 🙏🏼

These comparisons are simply pointless. In what way they don’t match Madonna?! Do they have to?! Madonna did and does her thing and she is great at what she does. She comes from a different generation, has decades of career and experience and life behind her, so comparing her to younger artists is ridiculous. No one can compare with her but nor do they have to. Gaga is very talented aswell, as a singer and actress and she had a different vision than any other artist. Beyonce is great in her own lane. There is place for everybody and its ok to enjoy different entertainers. Worshipping them ,though, is delusional behavior.

Thing is..when u are a woman "against the stream", different, as Madonna here calls it, meaning -You do not live up to the conventional male expectations of what and how a woman should be, u win a little battle here and there...for every time u win a little bit, the understanding of just how much women are suppressed on all levels of existence, grows..and the battle gets bigger. I can only imagine how very tired Madonna must have been so many times in her life,..thinking ; I won this battle! (whatever it may have been), i conquered this mountain!..just to come out on the other side to see an army against u..and another chain of mountains to climb. From a very similar background and upbringing and a very similar kind of thinking world with Madonna, i myself know just how tiring and never ending the work and the battle seems sometimes. Every time iv'e been about to give up, i listen to Madonna, her songs to inspire, and her interviews to give me new strength. Evidently, it is possible for your best friend in life to be someone whom u have never talked to (I've only had her hand in mine for a brief moment), and your "sister" can be someone born a long way away on the other side of a vast ocean. I am so grateful to have been born in the same era with Madonna, cos without her, this might as well have been the dark ages for me. Thank u, for always having been my ray of light Madonna. Celebrating 31 years of "married to Madonna". ;) Thank u for existing.. Love U always, never give up. S

I've loved her since I was a wee lad. This video proves everything I've felt about her. She is whip smart, intelligent, well spoken, and as has always been her trend, she is well ahead of the game. I came to re-watch this whilst French election because I remember her talking about Marie Le Pen. And what she's talking about throughout feels like very present and even worse now 4 years later. And Donald Trump isn't even in the picture then. This is crazy. We live in an insane era right now. What about all the artists and activists and protesters plea? The world is a depressing place. I long for world peace. On the side note. What other pop artists can endure what she's been (law suit, death threats, and arrest threats for her art, for performance, and speech) and fight back? Madonna is going to be a historical figure.

I agree and disagree with you. I have been a fan of hers since 83. However, I think it is a dangerous precedent to just agree 100% with Madonna just because you're a fan. Think for yourself. I see her point. I am glad she stood up for gay rights in 2012, but 2024 is a very different time. I am gay and I oppose gay marriage (I could explain why if you really needed me to). Don't get me started on supposed trans rights. many gay people resent having to share the LGBT acronym with the crazy trans activists that are basically ruining everything gay right activists have worked so hard for. Madonna is incredibly intelligent but that doesn't mean I have to agree with her politics 100%. I voted for Trump the past 3 elections, and I am VERY happy he won this last time. The media and the Left have been calling Trump a fascist for years now. they have been trying to draw comparison to Trump and Hitler. However, I find that offensive. I want a secure border; I want American tax dollars spent to secure OUR country's border first. NOT the Ukraine. Illegal Immigration is a continued problem. Madonna I am sure is all for open borders, but what about the people whose lives have been taken by illegal immigrants? Would their family agree with Madonna on this issue? This would never be a threat to Madonna b/c she is surrounded by security 24/7. I know Madonna would disagree with me politically, but she is not living the same life the average American is. This interview is great, and I agree with her in theory here, but this was 12 years ago. Her politics haven't changed. Mine have. The thing that frustrates me with Madonna is she talks about being open-minded but what she isn't saying is she only wants that open mindedness to go in one direction (Liberal, left leaning). Is she open to hearing and genuinely considering the other side? I doubt it. Doesn't matter though because more than 1/2 of America disagree with her politics and voted Trump back in office. She would be quick to label them close-minded or discriminatory. Don't get me wrong, I love her music, I love that she is intelligent to have an interview like this. She is my #1 Favorite artist/entertainer/singer/ celebrity. That being said, that doesn't mean I have to agree with her on everything. I appreciate someone being able to have an interview like this with her because of her level of intelligence You could never have this type of conversation with...I don't know....Mariah Carey? Beyonce? They just simply aren't intelligent enough. I appreciate the fact that Madonna is. Even if I disagree with her at times.

And, she doesn't just talk the talk, she walks the walk. Actually, i think that the other popular artist who has done HUGE amounts for ill children, for the minority & the oppressed is Michael Jackson. I learnt that he was multi-faceted and multi-talented & did loads in his life as an artist, yet many may be unaware. I also learnt, that after Bill Gates, MJ has been one of the greatest financial donors to global charities, specifically children's charities. So much so, that he's received numerous accolades & has been awarded for doing so. It's said, that MJ paved the way for many others to start donating also. MJ was an amazing & great philanthropist and humanitarian & this is verified within an amazing documentary. "Loving Neverland" is highly recommended viewing.

Madonna kinda is punk rock. She's a very interesting combination of the Yin of someone like Debbie Harry, she's really mysterious and very intelligent and speaks her mind, unfiltered for the most part. She's fascinating. I like she identified with Frida, and her talking about the history of dance and aesthetics. There are so many facets to Lady Madonna, I'm on a binge of her. She's a powerful woman and I like how authentic she is while balancing being in arguably the most inauthentic field of Pop Music. Her answers are always smart and witty, really great.

What an amazing, intelligent, inspiring and mindful human being she is. Truly admirable. And I, personally, am not particularly into her music (although I recognize that her body of artistic work is exceedingly exceptional).

Amazing! If anyone ever wants to know why I love Madonna so much than watch this interview. Articulate, real, worldly, responsible, inspirational, philosophical, inclusive, expressive, passionate and lovingly judgemental.... M! xoxo

She doesn't need to prove anything as a music artist. She wrote many pages of music history and has an immortal place in the music history. She doesn't need to sell, she already sold as a guinness. She always pushed the boundaries, she still does it! GO MADONNA!

Madonna already said what people are saying now about the world , it’s connectedness being an illusion and about intolerance. She speaks so well , expresses herself so clearly.

That's why I say she is a true artist and a world icon. Unlike new female artists who just become famous based on their spotify streams etc. They don't have what Madonna has.

she should extend that compassion and kindness to all animals, not just humans. horse back riding, wearing fur, and shooting birds for fun is cruel.

It's so nice to see her get excited about something again. Obviously what I really want is a new album, but never during the MDNA promotion was she this enthusiastic, so its nice to see this old Madonna is back.

I'm a truely talented artist, unfortunately I have no career and a disabling bad back, every day I deal with peoples resentment and hate towards me the worst thing is that society rules you out as if you do not exist when you aren't working. I'm definately joining Madonna's Revolution and she would make a hell of a lot of better choices than any priminster or MP throughout my life time :) Xxx

I live in a country where people are used to not being free, freedom is not normal for people anymore, everyone is afraid and everyone is opressed. It would be great if Madonna included Venezuela in her list of countries that are going through a crisis. Thank you for trying to change our world. God bless the Queen.

This was a very smart interview.. I agree with the complacency in the US (and also in some other economically rich countries).. I do not feel the complacency comes from freedom.. I don't feel the US is free at all, though it portends freedom as a psychological banner..
