I attended Hunter College that year. I REALLY wish I had taken that freakin' film class, ha. Ahh well, at least we have it on video. She was very relaxed and raw here. Love it.

How on earth can the grounded, seemingly self aware Madonna we see here be the same woman we see today?? It’s so sad to see such a fall from grace from a woman who seemed to understand the industry she worked in so well. Over the past decade we’re seen her slowly loose her way and seemingly loose touch with herself and as a result her fans. I just dont want her story to end in the way it’s heading. We love you Madonna and we miss you - the real you. X

Plus Kabbalah had a lot to do with it . Kabbalah teaches how to let go of your ego. And your reaction is your enemy and so on. Loved this era too ! It was the best.

The advise she gave to that filmmaker is good for everyone: you do need something of an ego to succeed but not to the point where you think you are the king. You won't keep learning/evolving like that
