Watching Truth or Dare and then I'm Going To Tell You a Secret it's mind blowing how much she has changed over the years. It's like two completely different people. But Madonna once said, it's ok to change, changing it's a good thing, because it means the life you've lived has affected you. It means you've lived a life that has not been superficial. A life that affects you, that changes you, it's a life of profound experiences.

I agree with Brenda...here we find Madonna exactly as we would expect her to be. A profound thinker with a cheeky irreverent sense of humor. A citizen of the world, a great mom, and a creative force. Haven't watched the doc in years but what I remember most is The Lola & Rocco Show lol Lola, very sophisticated and showing off her French, but still childishly impressed by a "fancy" hotel room which her mother points out is really just some caricature of fancy. Madonna asking Rocco "who's the queen?" Rocco saying "YOU are!" in a way that tells us they probably have this exchange everyday (I kinda hope they still do, tbh)

An excellent review!! Sad the upload was blocked, I would’ve loved to have watched that with you. I haven’t seen this documentary in 20 years. But your commentary was wonderful. I wondered if Cloud would be your favourite dancer, as he was mine. You’ll see him again for Confessions. I love the scene where she gifted him the guitar. Excited for Confessions era, and I noticed in the comments, I’m not alone. I am also excited for Emily to see the video that goes with her new favourite Madonna song, Hung Up. However, there is another song that follows that called, Sorry. That’s my other favourite song, and perhaps yours as well. The entire album is a gift followed by her best tour, IMO. Enjoy Get your disco shoes on ladies!! 🪩💃🏼 Have a lovely day. ♥️

So thank you for this review, you're so excited by this documentary about the reinvention tour that it's a pleasure seeing you talking about it. Maybe one day we could see you reacting the video.... This fascinating docufilm revealed/validated what we’ve been seeing in her amazing life/career journey up to this period: her authenticity, openness, artistry, her embrace of cultural diversity, her wisdom, spirituality, her genuine/warm rapport with her tour crew and her mentorship of younger artists among her talented dancers. Contrary to misleading criticism from her detractors, her relationship with her tour team has been fun, mutually rewarding and memorable. Couldn’t help but feel the bittersweet sentiments they have for each other as Madonna read her poem appreciating each of them at the end of the tour. They may part ways and go on their separate journeys from hereon, but they’ll always have that special bond they achieved in this tour for the rest of their lives. Finally, The Little Prince is also one of my all-time fave books and have tried to live by its famous quote: “…it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; for what is essential is invisible to the eye…”. Truly appreciate this one hour insightful and joyful reaction from you-it’s worth the wait-thank you!❤😊

Hey guys. Loving the journey. Been watching all the way from Australia and spend the last few weeks travelling through Morocco and Italy and you guys were with me all the way. I just had a thought and not sure if anyone else has recommended this, but during this period Madonna guest starred in an episode of Will and Grace. 2003 titled Dolls and Dolls. It’s a bit of fun. I think she was madly in love with Guy Ritchie and seemed very grounded with him which also reflected on her music back then. It's a shame that this sort of life didn't work out for her because you can tell she really believed this would be the one. Excited to see your future reactions to some of my fav songs about the end of her relationship with Guy (Miles Away and Devil Wouldn't Recognize you from Hardy Candy 2008) and (Love Spent from MDNA 2012). The best about this movie is seeing how much she grew since the last documentary, 14 years before. She was no longer that woman we saw in truth or dare, like you said she had other priorities in life so she was taking care of her family as well as her career. And even though the dancers are her friends (some of which still work with her today in other functions) she now puts them in a position that doesn’t affect her relationship with her family. I believe the secret she’s trying to tell us is how she found happiness in all those things she’s been experiencing.

6:04 since this is a long video, it’s better to comment with timestamps 😅 so the reason they were playing my Sharonna is because they were rehearsing Dress You Up.
