i just started watching a lot of her interviews this week and she is always honest in them, whether they were back in the early 80s or 2008. one simply cannot dismiss madonna as an artist, musician, feminist, role model, boundary-pusher, businesswoman, true entertainer and genius.

How amazingly lucky we were to witness this peak (One of many). I keep coming back to these "old" videos again and again. Sometimes it makes me even cry. This was a very special time for her- and for us gays!

@sdeelite I just watched another interview with her and Weird Al. She didn't take him for serious and was ice-cold. She obviously liked THIS interviewer -- a more down to earth person -- and opened up.

@tallbridge From time to time I love to watch her interviews because her answers are profound. I also liked a lot her speech at the VMAs about Michael Jackson's death. She spoke out the truth.

At this time she was 30 but much more mature than a regular 30 year old. She has a lot of substance and is highly intelligent. I can't forgive her the Britney kiss and her cooperation with her. Recently she did a sketch with Gaga. I don't understand why she goes down to that level.

Unfortunately all of her duets and collaboration were "reaching down" Except two (Ricky Martin and Prince). Britney, Justin, Diplo, Tailor Swift, KAty Perry etc.... All of them beneath her by far!

You look at a woman that was dancing for more than two hours every other day singing live on a stadium stage on 38 dates, a woman who trained physically doing aerobics, jogging and weight-lifting, to cope with the choreography and the dance routines, seven costume changes, with song-and-dance routines, theatrics and addressing social causes making 25 million dollars ....and all the only comment you can come up with is THAT?
