Why do people always go after madonna’s vocals? I mean, for Christ’s sake, give this woman credit, she went from singing lucky star to the score to Evita!! Does she ever get due credit for her immense vocal growth? Nope, they keep trying to insult her legacy. Madonna was I’m sure, quite emotional and nervous and think she did a beautiful & heartfelt tribute to her friend.

its usually some her moronic fans who cant get over that one interview where Madonna while playing humble said she doesnt have a great voice and that she is about having a view point. Those aged Fairies just wont shut up about that concept because they think they are the only people allowed to be madonnas because they’ve been busting their asses since the Boderline video, while other fans were still in day care centers or pre school.

People keep questioning why Madonna. On her Like a Prayer album, which is considered a legendary concept album, Prince played electric guitar and vocally backed her on a couple, very experimental for the time, songs. She reached one of her many creative peaks, and no one was doing what she was doing, and Prince helped push her there.

@@johnsmitts21 Madonna's quote, "be what men expect you to be, but more importantly be what women expect you to be around other men." She owned this, and that's why she was able to camo herself in her styling. It's fucked up bullshit but they had the same message in the end ab activism. Sometimes u have to look like the opposition so they see some kind of sameness so they realize how stupid they are. Sinead wasn't something the world was used to looking at and that's why she was the scapegoat.

if she doesnt great vocals, no one would be stupid enough to cast her Evita and she is the best Evita of all time. Plus she has more than Aretha Franklin in her recording of Love Dont Live Here Anymore. If you come to Asia, you will dozens of little girls in rice fields who can beat Mariah and Whitney Huston. There are hundreds of Gay comedians who can hit the high notes of Celine Dion and sing like black singers. But No one has ever dared to impersonate Madonna. Because they cant copy her singing voice. Not one Pop icon in Asia would dare sing Frozen or Live To Tell. They cant even sing Ray Of Light or Vogue. Even Like A Prayer. But Mariah songs and Whitney songs those are Staple in every small town singing contest. Any gay kid can sing Hero or I Will Always Love You. No one would sing Rain or Secret. Because they wont sound good. Now this gospel to everyone.

If you had heard that song life in the 90' when it was performed by Sinead o'Connor you would understand that this is a song better not to be done by any lower standard than that :-o and even Prince did this song (his song) beter than Madonna ! + there is something else going on here today , for the last few years and that is politics ! Madonna is into the occult => sadly she should not perform this because Prince wanted to brake free from the slavery and bullshit from that power ! that's why he was a rebel tafkap with SLAVE writen on his face (remember?) . Madonna has devoted her life to be a "bitch" => she is not for freedom she's controled by the occult and has to obey into that mindcontrol culture (hollywood , Netflix etc.) . being "WOKE" is not being AWAKE => there is a difference => i do understand the many reasons why she should have left this song alone ! go out there and study the path because i've lived it and i know why . good luck ;-)

The performance was not the best (technically speaking) since her voice is not (and has never been) a powerful instrument. However, it was heartfelt and emotionally resonant.

I’m surprised how well she did this. I’m not a big Madonna fan but this performance was emotional and raw. Her voice really worked with what are difficult songs. Vocalists today can be quite blandly perfect. This has character and emotion which is needed for these tunes.

I don't know why but this performance got me emotional, more than others I've seen giving him a tribute. And even if it's not 'good musically to my taste' (except for Stevie's voice, still so good after all these years wtf). I like the creativity choices they made with the beat on NC2U, Prince was all about not replaying the past, so it felt right to feel a bit more creativity peaking into this cover. Then I would have never expected Stevie joining Madonna. Stevie and Madonna both represents a part of Prince's music, outside of his music those parts rarely meet, and so watching this, it felt right to see them together, it holds a lot of spiritual meaning, not only in regards to Prince, but in regards to all the things that are for no reason segregated, and don't get a chance to meet...

Madonna has never been an outstanding vocalist as compared to Barbra, Celine and Whitney. But she will always render songs with the right and powerful emotions - listen to her ballads. She will always be a performer, yes at times off key, but will always magnify a powerful character on stage. Hence, queen.

Donna Summer RIP was (and will forever be) the QUEEN OF DISCO👑✨ Have you heard her voice? - better than the three you mentioned, combined. Madonna remains the QUEEN OF POP👑✨ and her tone of VOICE is beautiful and so easily recognizable and every lyric she SINGS is heard. For the first time, I actually heard the words to “Nothing Compares 2 U”. PRINCE💜 you are so dearly missed by your fans! Rest in Heaven…

I’m sick of hearing this Moronic statement that Madonna doesnt have a great voice. Madonna on one interview played humble by saying that she doesnt have a great voice, 1 interview. And Madonna fans proud to have seen that interview in their Black and White TV set, never stop using it as Reference for a Biblical truth. This thought is Moronic for approximately 24 reasons. By I shall give you one. A great voice is not merely hitting high notes, Whitney can’t whistle! If its just Vocal range then Celine and Mariah will perish before Cyndi Lauper who can break glass with her screech. But Cyndi is not like Celine who sounds like a goat getting strangled. Point is, hitting high notes is so common. 9 out 10 transgender drag queen in places like Manila can mimic Mariah and Celine. But not one gay person in such society has ever attempted to sing like Madonna. For several decades, Filipinos on Television can sing like famous Pop Divas (gay impersonators). But Madonna being the #1 gay icon, not one person can copy her. I might decide to make history soon.
