the album really sucks. it took years and perfect music video make it likeable. Plus its better than 98% of the music produced in recent years. This version is ethereal. The orbit version sounded too Preachy.

I don't know who spoke the ostinato, but it is highly likely that Madonna sang the female background voices herself. She did that for "No Substitut for Love" too. Niki Harris may have sung the voices, but that is unlikely.
