Anyone who criticizes her age will be her age in a blink of an eye and will not have done a millionth of what this woman has done. And in the grand scheme of life, she is still a young woman.

No one gives one whit about Annie Lennox. She herself doesn’t seem to be too concerned about the aging process. She’s an artist and is just good. Madonna cares way too much about her aging. She seems very uncomfortable with it. She’s interesting as an entertainer but an artist is a stretch in my opinion.

People don’t give Madonna enough credit for her artistic talents. I’m listening to the “Madame X” album and it’s a creative, musical masterpiece. The lyrics and music are beautifully raw. Madonna is an artist who constantly pushes the boundaries with her art and I’m constantly inspired by her.

Quite a few people have passed through my life that came with the - Oh no, you don't like Madonna do you?? ( After seeing the OBVIOUS after taking a look in my music shelves ) So, what i used to do is TRICK them.. Listen to a lot of other music and get them engaged in a conversation about music, anything and everything except Madonna.. and with a sufficient amount of time having passed, after a few drinks ( or a joint ;) i'd suddenly put on a Madonna pearl i was absolutely sure they will never have heard.. like Swim, original, or Father...whatever.. and suddenly these peeps go - Oh that's a really nice song!! WHO is that?? For real, the haters have never listened to her.

African Woman ....she’s the one that lives a public life claiming she’s Miss X, a secret agent spy that sleeps with one eye open or whatever ridiculous persona shes acquired to stay relevant in show business. That’s what a comment section is for, so you can tell me what a wonderful creative artist she is and by same token, I can have my own opinion, that it’s a silly, juvenile, gimmick. What kind of person tells another that they should not have an opinion? An arrogant one I think.
@africanwoman6197
@africanwoman6197 5 жыл бұрын
Ian Lee well I just started my comment with "that is your way of thinking,,,,". Meaning it’s your opinion, not everyone else and definitely not mine too. You just wrote its an image she is putting for showsbiz, so why are you behaving like this is who she is in real life, like she will be hanging in the kitchen making coffee looking like madam x! You sound like those kids covering themselves with tattoos because they saw a famous person having them, then they realise ten years later those famous people did not even have tattoos to begin with, it was just an image.

Madonna is so expressive nowdays. She seems to be in a lot of emotional pain, but not in a bad way. I guess she was always tormented but as she got older she is more open to her feelings and emotions. A woman addicted to fame, scandals, achievements and exercises, how dare! Madonna has been persecuted by the media, society and the world, just for not playing the expected role, for not only smiling and saying that everything is fine, everything is just a "misunderstanding". No, it's not okay, a woman has the right to seek, to dream and to have the goals she wants. Why don't you, and everyone else, also blame powerful men who, like her, are addicted to work, fame and power? Do you blame a woman for not presenting the virtues you and society expect, and then you and your friends bother with commercials denouncing ''toxic masculinity''?

'This is not background music.' I couldn't agree more. I've listened to this album probably 6 times all the way through, each time with a really great set of headphones on. And during each listen I find something new. 'Madame X' is sonically Madonna's best work since 'Ray of Light' and she has every right to be very proud of it. It's just a shame that the powers that be in the game of commercial radio (and it IS a game) won't give these songs a wider audience - they only see her as 'an icon' or 'a legend,' not as 'an artist.'

I love Madonna's new persona. She's more vulnerable, self aware & laid back now but from time to time, she still knows how to pack a punch with her witty observations. I love when she said that she does not expect the whole world to like her new record. But only a handful who appreciates this new musical direction is more than enough. And I definitely love the eyepatch symbolism, wounded but resilient. This is a great reinvention!

Contrary to many of her fans on this posts, I do not find her articulate at all In interviews. She never interviews well as a subject because of her defensiveness. This lack of focus and distraction of Madonna's has been a common thread throughout this whole Madame X promotion on various tv chat shows (watch Graham Norton) and interviews such as the Andrew Denton one. @@palestar828 changing your look (which is the same with plastic surgery) has, in fact, nothing to do with "hating yourself"... this is just a stupid and way too simple way of thinking. She's evolving herself as an artist over and over again, that is and ALWAYS was her biggest passion. And yes, she also uses plastic surgeries for that, but to criticize her because of that is exactly as dumb as criticizing her for being in her age. Because? Because it is not our business at all... take her as an artist as SHE wants to be or leave her alone. It is THAT easy, but people love to hate and criticize on other people lifes. One of Madonna's best interviews. And it is noticeable how well and kindly I say the Interviewer handled the interview. What struck me and made me sad was the part where she wasn't 'sure what she means to people'. Obvious, as much as many love her; way too many hate her. They Just hate her. Maybe caus they can't reach her. So they invent what they pretend to be justification for their hate. Quite pathetic, I Say. Long Live the Queen and the GODDESS! VIVA MADONNA! I am always loving her. True Leader.
