I went to see this tour 18 times and have struggled to find a video that captures the excitement of the MJ pre-lights down song and the magic of show opener iconic! Wish you had the whole show recorded as it’s brilliantly captured but then you wouldn’t have enjoyed the show! Amazing video mate thank you for the memory 😍

this is the real thing.. the crowd, the screaming, the admiration, the love and support, the energy that will never be filtered and edited by any technology. so sad that up on all of this what we got as the final product is a reproduced version of it that covers all the beauty of the show.

This was right before she really lost her mind. She was still nuts with RH, but not the way she is now. It's only gotten worse for her, and for the mega fans who can't escape it.

For those of us that went to Madonna concerts in the late 80s and 90s, this showis a sad reminder of what aging does to a person. Madonna was spectacular in those days. This show I wouldn't attend for free.
@morningsminion32424 жыл бұрын
Aging and an untempered sense of self-importance and a massively inflated ego. Hard-core fan from 1983 - 2006 here, when everything really started going to shit. With each tour she becomes more grandiose in style and presentation.. Good lord, we've seen the crucifix/christian iconography thing from the first video. Now it's the same sensibility, just bigger and gaudier in costumes, props, sets, lighting, plus of course all the pre recorded voiceovers that render her iive voice indistinguishable from the electronic crap. She used to have two dancers. Now she has about two hundred. And, god help us, she 'wants to start a revolution." Right, that's just what people always looked for from her. Her once-stunning stage presence is half gone, her choreography is regimented and she just goes through the motions, there's no passion that I can discern. I think the problem is not growing older, we all do, but doing so and not recognizing how to do so in a compelling, graceful, non-desperate fashion. Once she was electric. Now she's hand-cranked. I don't know how she keeps pulling these big crowds outside the U.S., but she's kind of over here at home. Sad. I wish she had simply retired rather than this.
