I don't know why you're all hoping they get back together or that they fall back in love. Sean Penn was abusive towards her. She said he would tie her to a chair and leave her for hours or get scissors and threaten to cut off all her hair when he was drunk or mad. She said he would beat her and she honestly had a few times when she thought she was going to die there. I'm happy she got out, Sean Penn is an awful person and she's better off.
