Madonna has always been a very social and cultural person right out of the gate. Her music has always had a tinge of R&B, urban vibe to it. Holiday was a true testament to that. This era was right around the time she was dating Tupac and the vibe she was feeling is all over her Erotica album. Her book Sex really set her back and she candidly speaks about it in her Billboard Woman Of The Year speech in 2016. It overshadowed the brilliance that was Erotica. If you want to get to know the other side of her, more than she's probably ever opened up about, watch that. My goodness. The guitar in this song with her raw vocals is everything on this track. "Until I learned to love myself I was never ever lovin' anybody else".

Bedtime Stories album from which this is from is one of my favorite albums. It's always hard to put her albums in any specific order because they are so different and they all offer different things and fit different moods. But Bedtime Stories is a very romantic, soothing album. There's a lullaby quality to many of the songs, few songs excluded.

Her recent work 'Madame X' is also very underrated. Not by the music critics, they actually loved it, but mainstream media didn't do her justice, talking about her age and stuff. I went to see her live theatre show last year and she still is reigning. Would love to see you react to 'Batuka', 'Crave', 'God Control', 'Dark Ballet', 'I rise' or 'Medellin', all video's from that amazing album. Kiss

Unfortunately copyright is tough so its not as easy as people think to just play stuff - it really is very difficult - even the stuff I've done thus far. But I will try. Her catalogue is huge and the older stuff is slightly easier to push through. Also the channels that do play the current stuff tend to have thousands of subs, so still a way to go, but I've hit the milestone which is tough so getting there.
