Everyone is all about 80s Madonna but 90s Madonna IS REALLY her peak. This song is still her biggest hit single in the US, spending 7 weeks at #1 in 1995. Babyface and his background vocals are excellent as well. 90s Madonna rules, she was so versatile and commanding that decade. "Take a Bow" was developed from this collaboration, after Madonna listened to the beat and the chords of the demo structure of the song.The singer's management called Babyface to set up a meeting and see if they wanted to work together.
