Hi there! I wanted to share a crafting tip with you: when there are sticky places on the pages or tip-ins (and also with tab binding), you don't need to place any powder there. Utilize a paper towel and rub over the sticky spots (in case you don't have any more of the same washi tape to cover the first washi strips) and VIOLA! No more sticky spots. Hope this is helpful.

Love your ideas! I’m definitely going to be giving them a try. I want to share, when I am trying to tie something like your two pieces of ribbon through the eyelets at the top of the page, I put a pencil or something across the top then tie the string/ribbon through the eyelets and around the pencil. After all are tied, I slip the pencil out, leaving the loops all the same size. Thank you!

@karenrosser Жыл бұрын
Are your papers all the same size? If they are, use bulldog or fold back clips to hold the papers together once aligned, then use a 3 hole pamphlet stitch to see them together (or your sewing machine if it isn’t too thick)
@MadPaperCrush Жыл бұрын
Hi Mona! You could use paper clips or sewing clips to keep things together until you are ready to add the flip (tabs, fabric tabs and even for sewing). Those would probably work best if your paper edges are aligned on top of each other. If you need to align them side-by-side, you could use a little piece of washi tape to keep them lined up until you were ready to add your tip-in hinge or other technique. Hope that helps!
