Madrid Drive - UNUSED Route Exploration + Possible Mario Kart 8 Deluxe BCP Route

Madrid Drive is the latest new city track added to Mario Kart Tour. In this video, I will walk through all of the routes in this beautiful city, including a currently unused route. Also, expect to see some out of bounds secrets!
This city will likely be added to MK8DX in wave 6, so all of the possible routes will be shown in this video.

"Madrileño" here. JESUS CHRIST! Nintendo went ALL OUT on this one! Seriously, there's not a single second of gameplay in which you DON'T see like... two or three landmarks, except for the times when you are actually INSIDE one (which apparently will be the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the Saint Michael Market, the Atocha Railway Station and the Prado Museum). I really hope they bring this to MK8DX, because it would be EPIC!

OMG WTF? I am spanish and i can't. I am so stunned of how good this tracks looks. Also, Tye 3rd version is AWESOME! And the music is so wonderful. I didn't think Spain would get one of the best treatment for the cities. I am so hyped to see it on Wave 6!

There is a very small part of me that wished this took place at sunset to give it that climax-esque feel befitting of the final city track. This track also just feels like it would look good at sunset.

There's also a chance they switch Rome and Madrid last minute for some random reason, but I do think Rome Avanti is befitting of a final track too. In the end, I just want the more difficult Tour track in the final cup.

I've been there earlier this year, and honestly I love seeing all the landmarks I visited being represented there along the track, in chibi-fied form to make them suitable for designing a Mario Kart track around. Like with every other city track, amazing.

Thanks SO much for showing this to us!!! First of all, Madrid looks amazing!!! I'm in love with the track! I think it's one of the best city tracks! And second, I"m in love with that museum and the paintings that are in it!!! The paintings are SOOOO CUUUUUTTTTTEEEE!!!! When Madrid 3 debuts, I'm going to go into Auto Mode and take photos of each of the paintings! I love them!!! The Daisy one is my most favorite!!

Thanks to this, I think I already have a sensible route prediction for wave 6: Lap 1: MD1 Lap 2: MD3, which takes you through the unused entrance of the Plaza Mayor, and then takes you through what looks like a mall, and a museum. Instead of returning to the finish line, you will turn right onto MD2. The final lap starts at the posts (as they're formed like a lap gate), after the fork between Retiro Park and the stadium. Lap 3: Rest of MD2

Great job but just a few tips, I feel like you were zooming in on a lot of the background designs such as buildings and things that are already somewhat seen by the player. For example at 4:58 there are posters that the player might miss while driving ahead and it would have been nice to see them but you sped by them

My route plan for the Booster Course Pass featuring Madrid Drive: *First lap: The racers start this lap by taking Madrid Drive 1 until they exit the stadium; rather than going straight to the finish line, they continue south through the Prado Museum, then use the Madrid Atocha Station to turn around and head back north through the museum before turning left to get back to the starting line. *Second lap: This starts as Madrid Drive 2 reversed, but when the racers get to the four-way intersection just before la Plaza Mayor, they head south and take a detour into the Plaza, then swing around the statue before getting back onto Madrid Drive 2 reversed. They head north through the stadium, then switch to Madrid Drive 2 by turning right. When they get back to the Madrid Atocha station, they continue past the entrance on the opposite side of the Prado Museum and turn left into the next one, then continue north through the museum a second time to get back to the starting line. *Final lap: This starts like the first lap from the start to when the racers head through the Prado Museum; only when they take the south exit, they switch to Madrid Drive 2 until they get to the four-way intersection; they turn right and head north, turning right at the next intersection.

This one seems slightly overrated, definitely acorn cup, and it should’ve been at night with outstanding lights, or at sunset in the fall time. Also, I knew they would make the 3rd variant have the place with wigglers. Just obvious. Also, the mall looks sick. Definitely will be my favorite landmark.
