MADRID FOOD TOUR! Must-Eat Tapas, Patatas Bravas, and Pastries!

There is so much amazing food in Madrid so obviously for our 4th day in Madrid we had to go explore some more! We start off our day with some delicious pastries at El Riojano, a Pastelería with more than 160 years of history that also serves the best hot chocolate in the city!
For lunch we stop by an iconic spot for tapas Casa Toni. They're known for a few offal tapas such as lamb intestines and pig's ears!
We spend the sunny afternoon relaxing at the beautiful El Retiro Park which is the main park in Madrid. It's full of attractions such as the Crystal Palace, the Monument to Alfonso XII, and of course the lake where we even did some boating!
Our dinner brought us to the outer suburbs at a neighbourhood joint called Docamar. Apparently they do the best patatas bravas in Madrid but we also tried some delicious paella and fideua!
We ended the day with an exhilarating flamenco show at Las Carboneras. Flamenco may not have originated in Madrid but this was an exciting experience!

Is there any wholesome meals like soup/stew other than seafood. Non tapa restaurants in Madrid?

We had a cocido in Malacatin which is a popular stew in Madrid which was pretty hearty (it'll be in our next video). There are other stews such as callos (tripe) and rabo de torro (ox tail) which you'll find throughout restaurants in Madrid as well!

@@TheMariodeblas tranquila cielo puedes seguir comiendo rey o besugo con limón , un chuletón con ketchup, no seré yo quien te enseñe a no joder la comida . Mezclar una paella que lleva su buen fume con una salsa que desvirtúa todo 🥳🥳🥳🥳 , la próxima mejor un poco de salsa rosa y mostaza todo mezclado , dame unas papas a la importancia para comer semejante cosa

Solo he visto un arroz negro con el clásico alioli de acompañamiento voluntario y una fideuá que con un toque de alioli para los amantes del mismo queda delicioso; tú viste la paella valenciana en cerámica lo más cerca, eres más de salsa rosa con langostino congelado. Besitos amor y tus calditos

The alioli actually complemented the arroz negro really well so no it's not a sin lol

@@locavore_eats si no se trata de que lo complemente mal , se trata de que con el alioli no aprecias el sabor de esa paella , yo no me pido un buen vino para mezclarlo con Coca cola, o un buen whisky para mezclarlo con Coca cola, no me voy a al capricho de José Gordon y le pido un poco de Cabrales para mezclarlo con su carne de buey igual que tampoco le pediría pan tumaca para mezclarlo con su cecina, que todas estas mezclas estarían buenísimas , pero no leo veo el sentido a joder buenas materias primas , eso paella que comiste no es una paella de 4° división para andar mezclándola
