CABALGATA DE REYES MADRID 2023
The Three Wise Men Parade is a typical float parade in the cities of Spain and Andorra , in Gibraltar and, with less echo, in Czech , Polish , Mexican towns and in the Portuguese town of Monção , in which the Three Wise Men ( Melchor , Gaspar and Baltasar ) and their pages and assistants throw candies and sweets to the children on the eve of the Epiphany party .
The parades are held every January 5 in the afternoon or at sunset, following the tradition, before the Three Kings leave their gifts at home overnight.
