I´m in tears... My best friend in the whole word died exactly one week before this came out. We had already bought the tickets for Madrugada´s concert in Sept. 22 in Athens. Okay.....so, I'm crying at work. Carry on coworkers...nothing to see here. I'll share. I lost my little brother 6 months ago to alcoholism. I've been fixated on needing to know he is at peace. This song doesn't answer my questions or alleviate my pain...but it somehow set my heart to rest to consider that this could possibly resemble our crossing. At least it captures the intensity of what it is to lose someone and wish them well. A beautiful piece, thank you!
