Madrugada - Majesty (Vesterålen Project)

I discovered Madrugada years ago on a whim, by my myself. And since then, they are in my top 5 favorite bands. I've tried to turn people on to them but it never stuck. Such disappointment. I've kept this band close to my heart and only reveal them to the very few that could possibly comprehend the beauty. It's not many. A grossly underrated band. So glad that I know their music.

It’s ok, many people love them. Just watch one of the many concerts in Greece, Athens and other places too, ancient theatres, stadiums, so many people love them!

The same thing happens to me. I tell them: people, look at what a great band, what super vocals, what a handsome guy, and they look at me like I’m crazy and nod their heads condescendingly. and shrug their shoulders. so disappointing! Madrugada is the best band I've found here in years, and I have a long list of good music.

@adifferentsetojawsz I was playing Radio Paradise one night many, many years ago and I was awakened by Majesty. Since then I have searched for and listened to everything by Madrugada and Sivert. My sentiments are exactly the same as yours. I have attempted to introduce the band to others with the same result as you. Here is the thing with music though.....a lot of people don't know how to think, they follow suit and when they are introduced to something they don't know, they reject it. For me, this band is absolutely number one. I haven't veered away from then in over 14 years. And, like you, I am glad I know their music xxx

When I visited Lofoten for the first time, a huge storm diverted my plane from Svolvær to Stokmarknes. I was very nervous to experience how intense the snowstorm was. During that moment, I fell INSTANTLY in love with the place. and I have visited many times ever since. 3 years later I found out that it's Sivert s village. I got chills all over my body as I am so in love with the band's music. some coincedences in this world are impossible to explain. Thank you for this great video.

@@willek1335thank you. It’s the actual name. (h) EL-LAS (el a very old word for light) and las (people). So the people of light. Although Greek/Greece has a connection and it’s not wrong, but it was more of a specific area in Greece. Ellas was the whole area that the Hellenic people and tribes were living ❤
