No wonder the Greeks were the first to actually discover and appreciate Madrugada for what they are beyond their own country. There might be a language barrier but as a country with a really rich musical tradition they appreciate good music from all around the world and they're a really strong audience.Listening to a concert in Herodion and Acropolis is a remarkable, almost mystical experience.

No real language barrier... For those of us who can't stand the local music scene and trends, english music has been the only way since a very young age, so we've practiced it a lot.

@@britishbobcat2098 Yes to everything you said. I used to live in Germany and that's how I became acquainted with them. There are a lot of bands where I wonder why they aren't well known in the States. The Gathering is another band I'm completely infatuated with, but over here hardly anybody is even aware of their existence. It's a shame really. Heather Nova is another, although not as extreme as the other two.

@jb-yi4di You, my friend are not wrong. I have been in love with Madrugada and Sivert for eleven years now. Sivert's voice is impeccable. He, as a solo artist cannot be compared to anyone else, and indeed should not be. This band stands alone. Whilst I promote them whenever I can, I secretly wish I was the the only person to know about them. LOVE is not a strong enough word. I adore this band. ADORE them. xxxx

@@britishbobcat2098 That's not the sole reason lol. Certainly there's that type here, but we all make fun of those trend followers. It's largely the music industry pushing certain acts over others. My absolute band: Madrugada! I just wanted to say thank you! On Christmas Eve we had a recording of your concert in the Rockpalast in Bochum / Germany during our cooking for dinner - we drank a lot of wine and remembered the wonderful moments in 2019 when we were at 3 concerts by you! My husband was a fan of yours for many years and has many wonderful memories with you. For many years he toured Norway on a motorcycle together with his best friend from school - you also had a few concerts - also in Berlin. At some point another friend came along who had a love for music, motorcycling and Norway. The three boys went on great trips in your beautiful country and founded a band as a hobby and arranged to meet in the rehearsal room every week ... In 2014, unbelievable and still incomprehensible for all of us, the suicide of my husband's best friend. That hit him hard and still didn’t let go… the band broke up and with it the trips to Norway by motorcycle…. When I heard about your 2019 tour through Facebook at the end of 2018, I was absolutely over the moon - my husband - still in deep sadness - had no idea that you would be playing again! I secretly got concert tickets for your concert in Hamburg as a Christmas present - even if I couldn't attend for health reasons - his other friend promised me to go to your concert with him! The two did that too and were with you in Hamburg in February! W booked tickets for your 2019 concert in Berlin, which we then visited together! It was an incredible experience and I am eternally grateful to you! In Berlin we heard about an additional concert in our former hometown of Bremen ... we booked that too immediately! We were with 8 people in the slaughterhouse in Bremen and listened to your concert with tears in our eyes! You have no idea what memories your music connects with our life - my husband has an incredible connection with your songs and his friend who took his own life in such a tragic way! We played "majesty" at his funeral and "wish you where here" by Pink Floyd ... My husband would like to have played MAJESTY at his funeral too 😉 - I for my part prefer "lost gospel" - but never mind - you are one Part of our life ... I surprised my husband with the concert tickets on Christmas night - he had no idea that you were going to play a tour - the greater and more incredible was his joy! I hope with all my heart that concerts will be possible again in 2021 or 2022. with all our hearts we wish for a time like "before Corona" - stay healthy - except for, hopefully, very soon !!! Loving greetings from Germany! in the words of my husband: “Madrugada has no idea what they mean to me” - “Everything”!

But your spirit will never ever be dead..!!! One of my biggest regrets in my -so far- life is that I didn't fight harder to be there, to attend this show, which I didn't , cause of my poor financials at the time. And I managed to attend three previous ones in the past, but not this one. I am completely aware I missed something beyond great expectations, something unique that words cannot describe. The feelings I get only out of this video.. I'm thrilled. I can feel something human, something spiritual, something mystagogical and " love making " in the most kind and magnificent way an artist can do that. Only very few can do that. So, being aware every show is wrapped around its very own uniqueness, I really hope it will be another one at this huge stage, with you Sivert, and your magnificent band! In my twenty two years I'm really full of hope it will be! Lots of love from everyone who wasn't able to come. We love you!
