Playing the beta, something I forgot about were all of the cool hidden quests in the game - thought it would make for an interesting series to show them off! Mor'Ladims Quest is probably the one most memorable quest for me. I remember first doing it on my Paladin during TBC, fighting a Folk Legend with a rather tragic backstory, who once was a warrior of hope, just as I was. Slaying the beast in a long and hard battle, freeing the mans spirit and learning that his daughter actually wasn't dead. He would then gave me his sword before passing on, which during his life was a weapon of justice, and will be once more now that it was in my hands. It was something straight out of a fairy tail and I was very young back then, this Questchain will probably remain my favourite Questchain in all of WoW until the day I ded.

I remember Mor'Ladim killing me and my friends repeatedly in Duskwood. We got so pissed at one wipe. We decided to just pull him and take him on 4 v 1. ...it did not work so well for us. Everytime he killed us we just immediately ran back to our corpses to continue the fight. We all died about 5 or 6 times before we just gave up and ran. When I learned that there's a quest you can get to depower him and get a neat 2hander, I grabbed it up immediately. I still kept the sword past Cataclysm when they replaced the Archeus with the "True Archeus" which is a decent 1 hander. But that sword was my momento. And since it's unobtainable in retail nowadays I feel like it's pretty special.

There's one of my favorite hidden quest called *It's a Secret to Everybody*, in *Un'Goro Crater*. It was added in patch 1.11.1.10772 and it starts from the broken boat. It guides the adventure seeker though all Kalimdor all the way from Un'Goro to the Winterspring. It also has pretty neat rewards and is a reference to The Legends of Zelda. Please, bump up my comment so MadSeasonShow will be able to see the quest and, I hope, share this quest with his nice audience. Your not wrong about the Horde. Poor scrubs. I agree that the exploration in classic was part of the experience coming across a quest while you are playing on your alt that you never knew about was great. The bootflask quest is one I still refer back to when talking about old wow. For one just finding it when it is tucked away on a hill in a lower level zone is one thing but the sheer amount of hidden items you need to find is nuts. Also linkens quest, the fairy dragon pet quest hidden up a small path, the essence of eranikus turn in and all the dungeon quest givers that are nowhere near the the dungeons. Always fun sharing quests at the start of a dungeon then having to explain at the end where the hell the turn in npc is.

I really like the artstyle and story of Warcraft. I'm a relatively new player who plays on occasion really. I recently got a month long of play time to give the game another shot. I tried my hardest to make the game more immersive (Keep in mind, this is Legion questing). I toggled the minimap off so that I wouldn't see the quest markers, and I tried to read the quests thoroughly before accepting them as oddly, most of them still give you directions on where to go. Of course, without a compass it is hard to discern directions, so sometimes I would have to really quickly toggle the minimap on and off to re-orient myself without seeing where to go exactly. This forced me to pay attention to my environment and pay attention to the characters, which immediately made the game much more immersive. I had to know where I was, slowly creating a mental map of the place in my mind and paying attention to the dialogues made me learn more about the characters. I would even toggle the UI off while walking into a new hub area so that I would have to discover quests instead of being told where to go directly. Needless to say, you really have to go out of your way to make the game more engaging and immersive, as opposed to what classic seems to be where you have to go out of your way to make it less immersive via external websites for tips. I can't wait to hop into classic, create a horribly unoptimized build and just embark on a journey of questing and just taking in the beautiful low-poly world. I'm thinking about creating a Tauren Shaman Tank.

There are two quests in Desolace with twink quest rewards, but before twinks they were still great, back in the day when ammo was needed for ranged weapons. The two centaur tribes gave the "Explosive Shot" or "Feathered Arrow" rewards, which hit like a cannon. If you were a hunter they were must have for duels, and for twinks, you could usually one-shot many lower level opponents. I have a couple of level 10 twinks, one a huntress, and she held these rewards for special dueling occasions!

Awesome video! I found a few of these on my first 60 toon before questhelper was a thing and before I knew about thotbot. The one that got me good was the wetlands bridge hidden one. I tried to jump to that quest like 15 times and kept missing. It wasn't until I was 60 and got a slow fall potion I finally went back and did that quest. I though the reward would be some kind of amazing mount or something since in my mind it was a hard quest to get to. Oh well it still felt good completing it. By the way as many times as I missed that jump and landed in the water I never noticed the skeleton at the bottom with that other quest. I guess I was focused on figuring out how to make that jump. @MadSeasonShow Sully Baloo's letter is a reference to Major Sullivan Ballou of the 2nd Rhode Island Infantry who died from wounds received at the First Battle of Manassas (aka Bull Run) during the War Between the States. He wrote a letter to his wife Sara just before the battle that became rather famous later on, especially after Ken Burns read part of it during his documentary series The Civil War.
