My generation grew up on the original SNL. Which was even better. Of course, I was only 7 in 1975 but it's still my generation. MadTV was the last of good comedy television. Canceled too soon while SNL is horrible now and it's still on the air. Should have been canceled years ago. Go figure. I take it back about MadTV being the last good comedy. There's still Key and Peele and Dave Chapelle. But other than that........

I watched this when it first came out hoping it would be as good or better than snl. What sucked was it was only 30 minutes long and way too many commercials. 20 minutes of Bobby Lee running around naked gets old after awhile. However the show was basically a live version of the magazine I grew up reading.
