Madtv was in syndication from 2001 to 2008 . When it aired on comedy central , it was cut down to 30 minutes....removing certain sketches and musical performances . Haven't seen it since on television.

@InTheYear I know . I grew up watching it on saturday nights at 11pm . I was saying that in syndication they usually cut out 45 minutes of the show for 30 minutes broadcast . Back in 2001, the show first went in syndication on TNN (The Nashville Network) , renamed Spike TV years later .

And it’s only going to get worse thanks to this woke 💩 cancel culture nonsense and the censorship and our government taking away our right to free speech and freedom of expression as well. It’s very simple; if we don’t get Trump’s ass back into power and Kamala/ Walz wins the election even if Trump’s ahead by a landslide regardless of what the liberal media tells Us; their assassination attempt in July didn’t kill him and they were most definitely behind that one ☝️ 😮secret service agents are now coming clean about the democrats destroying America from within. I’m not a conspiracy theorist whatsoever, but when there are literally thousands of folks pouring out of the woodwork and coming forward with their own allegations against the left sided agenda’s plans for a globalist regime domination you’ve gotta ask yourself why are the people who live in Minneapolis speaking to the Muslims and praying for Mohamed 5x’s a day no matter what they’re doing or else. Fact. Politicians and the Mayor is bowing down to their own demands. Keep in mind this is the same city that Walz was in charge of and left it to burn down and he also called off the National Guard saying it’s fine as his own wife opened the window so she could smell the chaos happening and “take it all in around her” That’s what she said. Vote for Trump in November!❤ Greetings from Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka quite obvious by now and only getting worse!

I had my first child in 1999. I was 21 and lived, (still do), in a tiny wee village in the Scottish highlands where being knocked-up outside wedlock was frowned upon. I got so much hassle and my folks booted me out of the house. Anyway, I’d still go back to 90s as things definitely seemed better then. Everything seemed more optimistic. Maybe every generation says that. We didn’t have MadTV here and I’m so glad I can watch it here - it kicks the arse of any other show like it and I wish it was still on the go. SNL is as lame as a stale fart and I’ll never understand why it’s still being made when it’s clear it’s lost any sparkle it had.
@GarthWatkins-th3jt Жыл бұрын
@@Highland_MooI enjoyed reading your comment. It was posted 4 days ago as I write this so I missed you but not by much. Am I talking strange? No, and I'm thinking less strange than what I'm writing, thankfully. Regarding being shamed and scorned upon, my ex wife, her mom and her mom's mom, all three were knocked up out of wedlock! I was responsible and stepped it up by starting my own business and asking her to marry me which she did. Her mom and grandma married strange dudes who then raised the "bastard child" etc etc etc. Lots of great details all throughout of course but....my so-called legacy will die and be laid to rest along with me, probably with zero fanfare or even a handful of people taking notice. Life is interesting that way. When I was younger I knew so many people and had many, many friends. My friend and I used to help friends if they moved from one flat to another because we drove trucks, we were available, always for free we paid for petrol etc....people who are scraping just to barely get by need any break they can get and that was understood by me...anyway we had a friend named Linda, just her, we moved all her things 3 times. Not 3 trips~1 move, 3 complete moves. When I had my business, owner operator of a small espresso bar, I kept plenty busy with that. One of my customers, his name was Buddy? I think and being from Hawaii he didn't have any family or friends to give him some help moving to his new place(which was a third floor apartment) so he asked me if I would help. He said he literally had nobody else. So I ended up doing it. It sucked but it would have been some kind of hell for one person. It's never too late to do the right thing. (just go with it...) It's never too soon to do the right thing. Ironically, it's always the right time to do the right thing. I hope your parents were able to sort it out, an epiphany, a moment of clarity, something to bring them down to a place where love is allowed to come in and stay. It doesn't have to matter how things got the way they are. If a glass of milk spills it needs to be taken care of cleaned. Even Mary got pregnant with no man around to pin the deed on. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Listen to a song by Rush called "Circumstances" from their album, Hemispheres. He sings the chorus in French then repeats it in English. Not to mention the lyrical meaning is no slouch. French Canadians, power trio from Canada, Rush......I just turned 58yo this month. It went so fast, my life did. Anyone crazy enough to see this and read to this point deserves a medal of courage and honor. Peace and Power to all, great or small, and remember to love, "be kind to everyone you meet for they are fighting a harder battle" ~ Plato

6:23, Good God this is hilarious. This kind of rhetoric today is beyond narcissistic and annoying - MAGA Hispanic speaking here - but Mad TV and 90's and beyond comedy was free and unfiltered enough, even here in with Mainstream comedy so that it was actually funny. (Plus Phil Lamarr is a great actor and he does Chris Rock and he's probably the best Michael Jackson impersonator. I actually wonder if making fun of Michael Jackson today in the *thankfully dying* Woke era could be done.

I consider the actual voice that was being parodied/skewered in the skit, I doubt it was that of the writers. I respect this show for being unafraid to extrapolate a joke to the most absurdist, graphic conclusion to make a strong point, not always just to be funny.
