Just a heads up that the artisit "Quasimoto" that appears on a few of the songs on this album is actually madlibs rapping alter ego. His album "The Unseen" is an absolute classic and worth a listen, some of madlibs best production combined with an absolutely amazing rap style and personality from him. Before I talk about this album, I loved the message at the end of the vid and agree 100%, love the earnest nature of these reactions and you as a person. I grew up with rap but was never that heavily invested in music in general. When I was 18 I really delved into music deeply, hip-hop especially, and a couple years later I decided to listen to this masterpiece, and it just solidifed why this is the kind of music I will always come back to, always feel some comfort in. I have probably heard it over 100 times in the past several years and I will still find new things to appreciate. Your reaction is still my reaction sometimes as the density of the bars and rhyme schemes is absurd, especially given I have written a lot of raps and poems so it puts into perspective the next level he was on during this time period. There's a reason he is the quintessential "your favourite rapper's favourite rapper." Would love to hear your thoughts on it down the line when you've listened to it more and had time to ruminate, it deserves it.

Also alot of the samples are from the old fantastic four cartoon and the vocals on Shadows of Tommorow is Quasimoto aka Madlib's rapper alter-ego.

You should react to the classic rap album "Deltron 3030". It is a unique rap opera set in a dystopian Sci-Fi world. I'm pretty sure you would love it. It is a true experience !!!

Seldom do you react to something EXACTLY the way I do, or how I would like you to; it would be unreasonable for me to expect that!... But for the first time, you delivered every reaction to this project exactly how I'd hoped someone would. Major thumbs up Jon! Love you bro

The best part of Madvillainy is just how dense DOOM’s lyrics are. It’s one of the big reasons why this album never gets old and in face gets better every listen. There’s always new bars to catch, new ways to interpret bars, and new parts of the story to catch. It’s why this album has over time raised on my all time favorites and not lowered like you’d think an album would after listening to it 50+ times.

You should do a clipping. season before their new album on October 18th. They have one mixtape (midcity) and two albums (CLPPNG and Splendor And Misery). Their discography is insane

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan GREAT REACTION!! I love MF DOOM. But first time u hear him, is too mach for the brain. The most lyrical, exhausting. If u hear another great lyrical MC, u think "give me more!!". But when u hear MF DOOM, u think "wow, hold on, I gotta back to the begginin' and take my time". That's too much for the brain. So u can act like u understand everithing this firs time, and like u're enjoying that (nobody would believe it), or act honestly, like u did, despite u can't bring us the coolest reaction. U did the only thing that an honest guy can do: flip, but say "that's too much, man, I admit that my brain can't handle that this very first time". U did the right thing, man, I love your honesty.
