Thanks Dr for this video. Most docs keep mum about the effects of alcohol consumption to diabetic patients, keeping them fully in the dark. Since alcohol is taboo in our society, docs also refuse to talk about it. Your video was very informative and I am sure it must have enlightened all those who watched the vide. Dear Dr. Im a new subscriber of ur channel, thanks for the video. Im a diabetic patient and taking janumet 50/1000 ..1-0-1 as prescribed by a physician. My fasting sugar varies from 125 to 135 depends on the exercise and alcohol intake. Whenever i drink hot like brandy or whisky it shoots up 200 and above. Is it okay to take tablets after having alcohol? Normally i do take as routine. Please advice.
