The actual world is a pretty amazing setting. Definitely worth multiple play throughs for all lifepath perspectives at the least. The shards offer good context after all gigs and jobs too but try to read them immediately or you can forget what they were related to lol

I like your two takes on this so far, and the idea for these breakdowns, so I subbed. I think just historical events such as the corporate wars and how the city layout came to be, would be interesting since the shards tend to give a bit of info at a time. Pacifica comes to mind, I like how the political/regional backstory plays into how the area really feels and works, but I don't know as much about others that weren't as apparent.

Nice vid! I wouldn't phrase it as "powerful politically" but more like "has a successful working relationship with powerful political figures, like Militech". More like effective hired muscle than political influencer.

i just wonder what an average life story for a maelstromer is. how long do they go until they die, and what makes people decide to start pushing it that far with the augments. maybe a lot of them already start having first signs of cyberpsychosis, and the only solace is embracing it?
