This machine was made in 1974. I found this out by looking at the old capacitors before I replaced them. I have heard that the mark 4 sounds the same as the previous ones, however I think it does sound different. Something that surprised me is that the patterns were stored in a ROM, not a diode matrix like the others. Obviously the standout feature of this machine is the volume modulation. It uses the selected rhythm(s) to modulate the volume of an input. On this demo I used a Korg/ARP Odyssey. Overall the Mark-4 is a very surprising drum machine and is worth the crazy prices because it is a crazy machine. Also... I'm selling it on Reverb...
