Replacing the factory radio in a 2008 Toyota 4Runner can be a pain. This module and harness set made this an easy process for sure. With the components used, I was able to retain and even program the factory steering wheel controls, and view vehicle specific information on the new Kenwood radio. Contact Crutchfeild.com to make sure you select the compatible products for your specific vehicle and radio.
Products used
iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Module
iDatalink HRN-HRR-TO1 Vehicle Specific Harness

Hey man, great video and perfect timing for me. The blue connector on the maestro, where does it plug into on the 4runner?

@@anthonyf4525 if I am not mistaken it went into the jumper harness or the datalink of the Kenwood radio.

@@joelcordero6706 I am sorry, but I do not. I am typically installing the products and do not have someone to video as I do this. I would reach out to Crutchfield.com to see if they can direct you in your particular install. That is where I ordered all of the products and they are very helpful if you get stuck at any point. For my install, they had all of the harnesses ready for plug and play. This was to connect the Maestro box to the Kenwood DMX809S. The only wires I had to connect in was the reverse wire to the harness and my backup camera. Everything else plugged in to the box and radio.
