I think our DM may have spliced two together, and picked the bits they liked most from each. Granted, that could well have been our fault as players as well. We were really over thinking things at one point, well, a lot. When we got the deeds to our run down bar, I did the classic thing with my half elf knowledge cleric. I went out picked up some tourist trap statue broke it in half hide the deeds inside and used mending. Now, if you No Fun Allowed walked into a study looking for deeds, where would you look first. Knowing what you know of D&D cheap tricks? I was basically conning myself, like the cup's scene in the princess bribe. That's when I wasn't a paranoid lunatic in the top little tower room scanning for anybody who looked remotely drow like. Oh, and reminding the DM I have the observant feat. So, like I say, we may have been overthinking things. We were certainly very protective of our bar. It wasn't like we could really bail and hide out somewhere else without risking the bar. I think it was a fun adventure. And even if you did mix and match two seasons together. Well, you still have two more to draw from and run again some time.

Are the Roll20 Maps - split up per ship, or are they like in the hard copy book, where maps are shared between the three ships?

Just started my first ever campaign as a DM and decided to make Jarlaxle the villain. I was really drawn to the more espionage aspects of his character, but I feel as though the adventure book doesn't give enough ways for characters to catch on to thr fact that they're being used by him. Any recommendations as to some breadcrumbs I might leave for my players as to the true nature of this partnership when Jar is in disguise? One idea I has was for the Viper to also be used in a similar way to try to get the stone, that way if her path crosses with the adventuring party, there is the choice to be antagonistic with her, but also the chance they'll talk out their stories and find out they're both being used. I also feel the Jar using Laeral Silverhand as a disguise could lead to the characters catching on after the fact. But other than these two ideas, I find it difficult to believe the characters will actually catch on, which I think would be a shame

JB Nevercought is a great addition to the game, because he can be a regular interation with the party, and once your poarty actually understands the name, they will do a face smack haha!

@@NoFunAllowed I've never heard of that character, but I do like the idea of introducing a swindler early in the campaign just to make them more suspicious and thinking people aren't always what they seem. Thanks for the suggestion!
