In the second foto, you can see the Luisa Miller cast, with S.Colombo-G.Lauri Volpi-L.Kelston-G.Vaghi.
This is a completely different take from the usual Italian version issued on CETRA LP and more recently on CD. Was probably recorded during the General Rehearsal on the 11 February, since the original Live Broadcast was on the 13 February 1951 or is a studio take.
Great part of the recording ist the same on both issues, but on the rare CETRA-SORIA LPs , the finale of the Second Act is obviously different. Different Tempos, less portamenti, for istance the portamento at „lo sguardo innamorato“ is missing, he breaths differently, and at the Cabaletta he sings „SAREBBE il ciel“ instead of “INFERNO il ciel“.
Very interesting to compare......We hope only that the RAI still have both recordings in better sound. The CETRA-SORIA was transfered almost a semi-tone Higher. Both versions have the same finale, which is at the end a FULL TONE Higher.....This problem was never corrected, it comes obviously from a tape problem occurred during the live recording.

Thank you for the upload .Do you happen to know why the act 1 scenes Walter-Rodolfo and Federica-Rodolfo are missing from the "standard" release of the live broadcast? Beginning with "Padre! - M'abbraccia" up to "Sciogliete i levrieri" , that's about 10 min
