Wow! Never thought I'd spend more than 20 bucks on a Deadshot movie figure but dang he looks awesome! Very disappointed with Mattels version so I might just grab this. Great review as always!

He goes surprisingly well with the films superman, I was hoping so since I have that one and the figuarts would be grossly out of scale. Thanks for being the only one to compare them!!

How are his thigh drop down joints? Are they ball pegs going from the waist to the thighs? Or are they half-discs-to-ball-joints? If the latter then the tightness I've heard about would not worry mean. If it is the former I would freak out every time I moved his legs at that point.

TFW, quality control is fantastic @ 1:10, but then break the rifle scope @ 6:40.

The stock, barrel, and scope all "snap" off. Not a big deal, actually kinda useful as far as the scope goes, but annoying.

I'm kinda worried about the pegs, many people complained that the hand pegs broke right off, the waist peg didn't fit and the figure kept splitting in two, the head peg snapped with the slightest movement... Maybe they got bad quality elements, but damn, it looks so fragile.

for movie figures i like to have more accurate height comparisons to the actors, so i might end up getting the SHF, but as far as comparison of the figure goes this is definitely better than the SHF. good thing suicide squad figures are not high on my priority to get.

the big problem is the height, body proportion, body scale in 1/12th scale compared to other Mafex. It is very eye catching if you pose it with Batman just like a scene in Suicide Squad. Articulation on torso and thigh is also a bit of problem.

i dont mind the height of this figure, rather have him this size than the tiny SHF version.

But is it worth paying 50 bucks for an action figure? I like collecting but idk if I want to pay more than that. I only allow myself 40 bucks per month to spend on comics and toys. So idk how I feel about a "premium" figure. Definitely not for a casual like me. Who likes to collect but isn't a slave to the plastic

I rarely spend much for action figures, just spare some more cash, maybe two months instead of one, and get a good one. Deadshot imho, looks fantastic (but fragile) and worth the cash.

he looks so much better than the SHF but the size throws me off. If I had more 7 inch I wouldn't care, like if the DC films like didn't get canceled, but he just looks too tall to how I want him to stand next to Batman and everyone else.

If you’re too lazy to tighten up ball joints on your figures then that’s you’re own problem. It’s really not that hard to do.

ha, well the point is if youre spending 40-50$ on a figure, it shouldnt be on you (the buyer) to have to tighten the joints. tightening joints on a figure like a shoulder or a hip here and there isnt a problem.. having the knowledge that everytime i buy a mafex figure, this is the routine i have go through, that's ridiculous. and we arent just doing one joint, we gotta do the shoulder, bicep, elbow, hip, knee, ankle.. x2.

WylunCustoms True. The other thing i was wondering while watching your review is why are you happy with the height of this figure? Not that I don’t understand you like the scale of your figures to typically be taller but this figure is so tall the point where he doesn’t really scale with any other Batman figures from any other line except maybe the multiverse line. It’s the biggest flaw with this figure imo.

I'm not to happy about the scale; not that Deadshot is too big but I think the others are too small. It looks better with the D.C. Films Superman than the rest of them. I do agree that out of the two choices this is the best choice. This one has a lot more accessories and looks to be of a better quality. The only down point to the figure is that the masked head is not as detailed as the Will Smith head in my opinion.

ya this figure really changed my mind on mafex.. i was like a poster boy for being a mafex hater.. (too many bad experiences) HOWEVER. if this is the new standard from now on, then I will def. consider mafex for now!
