Mafex Suicide Squad Harley Quinn Action Figure Review

This is a review of the Mafex Suicide Squad Harley Quinn 6 inch action figure and also a comparison to the S.H. Figuarts Suicide Squad Harley Quinn action figure.

Thanks for the thorough comparison! That DC Collectibles classic Harley is probably my favorite figure (she stands so well despite the heels!) so I'm anticipating their movie version when it finally hits stands. For now, the Figuarts edges out the Mafex, as she looks more like a mini-Margot and, as you pointed out, the articulation pulls off the natural/sexy poses with ease. The Mafex is still unquestionably worth picking up for the fun factor from the better flexibility and scale.

SHF is in my opinion an overall better figure, better face likeness, better mold, the only thing better with Mafex is the glossy jacket and some minor paint details missing on the SHF, but for me SHF is a more solid figure.

Ricardo Dos Santos Really i mostly agree with that. Like I said, I think the Figuarts face looks a little more real and the torso and body are sexier/ better looking. I'm back and forth on these. Main problem for me with the figuarts is the blurry and split/double printed eyes which may not have happened on everyones. I also like the height of Mafex more. But if I could only keep one, I'd have a real tough time picking. After messing with them a lot after the review, I probably would have kept Figuarts if I had to get rid of one.

Still Mafex did a great job with the tiny details I have to give them that. But I guess you were one of the very few unlucky with your blurry eyes Harley Quinn, mine is flawless as most of the SHF figures are, but I do agree that some may say that this is a close call, my Harley Quinn is without a doubt my favorite female figure in this scale. You did a good review and comparison in your video nice job 👍🏼

I think Medicom mafex did a little too much on the jacket because it was not that glossy in the movie

Yeah I'm torn between them really. If they painting of the eyes werent double printed or 'split' on my figuarts, id like it better. Probably didnt happen to everyones.

Great review, man! I've been wanting to message you on FB to ask if you were gonna get this figure and BAM. You got one and reviewed it lol. I'm really wanting to get the SH Figuarts Harley. I got the Mafex one last week and I'm absolutely in love with it hahaha I also got the new 12 inch multiverse Wonder Woman and it is fantastic. I know you're not crazy about the multiverse figures, but the new Wonder Woman is fantastic. So much more improved over the BvS version.

Yeah I love both the Mafex and the Figuarts. There really is pros and cons with both. In this review I leaned heavily towards mafex but afterward i noticed theres still lots to like about the Figuarts version. I just seen the 12 inch Wonder Woman today in Target. It does look really good! Multiverse is crap one day then the next its awesome! lol

Mr Evilcheese Mattel really stepped up their game with the 12 inch WW. Better face sculpt that looks like Gal Gadot, amazing articulation for the size, and accessories out the butt lol I'm dying to get the Figuarts Harley haha I managed to find the Mafex one in person and I'm hoping I'll eventually find the Figuarts in person too. I really don't want to order it online haha

Great review as always Mr.Evil Cheese and boy if you saw the Mezco One:12 Collective Suicide Squad Harley you might pick it up since you already have a ton of Harleys lol just Mezco One:12 Collective figures are abit pricey being $75 to $80 but I think you'll like them since they are like mini hot toys

Yeah i am planning on getting that one too. i like the bubble gum head. I dont like her weird stomach though. And yeah the price may make me change my mind. it is a bit much

Mr Evilcheese I think it looks good also agreed on the stomach tho also tbh even if the price is expensive a bit it's actually worth it since I have 4 Mezco figures and you'll be impressed by how well they can make the cloth fit on a figure at 6 inch scale without looking weird or awkwardly big like mego figures plus some of the figures aren't restricted on the movement despite them being covered in it

what clinches the Figuarts for me is scale. I feel the Mafex is too tall, particularly in comparison to Mafex Wonder Woman. My Mafex Harley is about as taller, if not taller than my Mafex Wonder Woman. I just feel Wonder Woman should be a little more taller than Harley.

Can you interchange mafex with shf head?

You can put the Figuarts heads on the Mafex body but they aren't tight. Just kind of sitting on there. And the Mafex heads won't go on the Figuarts body

The SHF is by far the better figure, first the mafex is not scaled, the face if totally off and the body is weird looking imo Anyway, to each their own but for me its the SHF, its not even close tbh By the way, you got a bad figure because mine doesnt look like that, the paint job on mine is perfect and not all over the place like yours
