This is one of the best missions in the game (for me) not only because of the high level of cruelty there is, but also because of the psychological terror that anyone could have if they got out of there alive and the addition of the Green River song in the background it gives a 10/10 touch to the moment the protagonist pulls out the knife.

It's one of the best, along with "Kill Olivia Marcano" (spiking the party with LSD then shooting your way out of the Country Club), though I'd argue most of the main missions are enjoyable and deserved more praise. People focused way too much on criticizing the racket missions that the main story sequences went underappreciated. They're some of the best in the trilogy.

@@Willzyyy I agree with you, they only grabbed at criticizing everything secondary that there was to do, that they ignored the entire main plot, moreover, even when Lincoln talks to the Irishman's daughter, a great moment of development is felt between the two, as it is so deep that even they sigh, the case how they held it in investigation mode, how they talked about what Lincoln did in documentary mode along with the missions you mentioned MAFIA III is undoubtedly a great game

This game is amazing. Loved the story behind it and the documentary added a nice touch to this as you were basically acting out what they were talking on. This mission was tough cause yeah, you gotta swim through gator infested waters without being eaten and then start running and gunning as it were.

The scene with Sammy's become a parking lot is really mean something to Father James, but the rebuilt Sammy's in DLC really questionable since the scene actually made before DLC even announced. But I got a theory if Lincoln again lost the bar either he become a boss or exiled. Should he become a boss, either Marcano remnants took revenge by destroying Sammy's or one of The Commission actually sent an attack on Lincoln crime family since The Commission still have a bad blood with Lincoln or simply a retaliation and the reason why they destroy the bar because that place is important for Lincoln. But if Lincoln left the town, the bar might gone forever due to the racist group like Remy Duvall brotherhood destroying the bar for "cleansing" the black community and since there are no one who wanted to protect it, the bar is gone forever and for good.

I admit I wouldn't be bothered to 100% the game, the highlights are definitely the main story segments but I still enjoy the progression of taking over the map. The racket missions don't bother me too much. I like to do a few side missions to get some bonus perks and guns but that's it.

I’m so torn on this mission. From one standpoint it’s the most interesting and fun and I love the idea of a gunfight through a sinking boat. But on the other hand it ruins the games writing for me. They treat Lincoln better here for condemning hundreds of innocents (not everyone on that boat was evil IE. the staff) to a violent death and they treat it more rationally here than when he killed the guy in tickfaw harbor. I feel the priest and the FBI agents reaction calling Lincoln a monster should’ve been inserted here. Doing this makes you on par with creating Titanic 2 but worse.
