I always wondered how the story would have gone if Joe wasn't home. Would Derek have actually killed Vito? Joe would've found out right away, then what? Civil war?
@pavelcerny98037 ай бұрын
@@swishfish8858He wouldn't kill him I think, he has no real reason to. It was just a psychological effect to scare him in case Vito was lying. He would, I assume, tell him never to show up again and in worst case scenario beat him up.

@@JimsGamingCave Too bad he didn't have more screen time,cause when tou think about it,you only interact with him in this cutscene where you just meet him and you already have to kill him in your next visit later. They never said the reason they killed Vito's father either and by the looks of it Derek was very hesitant to kill workers and only wanted them scared so there must have been a good reason behind his father's death. Mafia 2 was too short
@JimsGamingCave Жыл бұрын
@@nushnume Agreed! I do feel like some important points could have had more light shone on them. It would have given more insight & reason behind some actions to boot. Regardless, it's still an amazing game nonetheless. My most favorite out of the trilogy.

@@JimsGamingCave To me both Mafia 1/DE and Mafia 2 are the best out of the trilogy. I really liked what they did with the DE edition of Mafia but the physics and graphics are terrible compared to Mafia 2's engine and godlike physics. One of the funnier aspects of this show is how the creators completely screwed up inflation calculations. For example, Vito probably could’ve probably loaded 5 trucks a day. At $10 a truck, he’d be making $50 a day, $250 a week, and around $12,500 a year. Calculating for inflation, that means Vito, just by carrying boxes, would be making $206,117 a year in today’s money! Vito’s father must’ve really been drinking champagne for his family to be poor on a salary like that 😂
@SYDAirlineEnthusiast Жыл бұрын
Honestly, if there was a job where I could just carry around boxes everyday for 200K a year, I would do it. Easy money and free weight lifting.
@skittles648611 ай бұрын
$50 a day! You mean he can do 5 trucks a day? No way. He needs to carry about hundreds of boxes to fully load a truck. Each box weights several pounds. In that sense even 2 trucks a day is near impossible.
