Snaggle Toothed Yeah, Pokemon! When I was at school there were actual newspaper articles about how kids were committing suicide because of Ash. Lots of weird stuff. I've never seen any actual evidence (only rumors) that the mafia has been involved in stuff. If the mafia was really active, I'd get them to invest in my film and music career like in the 1920s hahaha. These days you see all these Gambino wiseguys making documentaries showing their faces...clearly they're pretty much inactive now or else they'd be too scared to speak.

Forget about the Italian mafia if you want todays organized crime, it's the cartels, they probably surpass what the NY mafia is by 100 fold both in manpower and in cash and lets not forget DC the biggest crime syndicate in the world

Rohid Nablay they're still around. But a lot of mafia members were ratted out/confessed to informants and were all caught. Most of the ones who served jail time and didnt get life all changed their entire lifes. The mafia was pretty much controlling the neighbourhood, making sure businesses succeed and getting their fair share of it. Also a lot of organised crime and hits. These days the technology is so much more advanced, authoritys and laws are heavy and it's just a completely different world to be doing these things and talking about it. They really took a hit around the 90's and 2000's and now they're a lot more quieter about what they do and the media has also shifted its attention off the mafia. Plus the cartel has taken over a lot of cities the mafia used to be heavy in

Off the top of my head that family was first theGagliano then Luciano family, and was most likely to become the Costello Family, until the physcopath Vito Genovese used violence to take it over hence the name change to Genovese. There was only one family that very well should of had the same name from begging to end. The Profaci family, probably the longest running boss 30 plus years pnly to have Joe Columbo to change the name in the 70's thats late in the game to change a name that has been established. Plus Columbo was one of the worst bosses its his and the Bannano family battling for worse. While Genovesse Gambino and sometimes luchesse battle for tbe best

All I can say is neighborhoods were safer and looked better. Nobody messed with kids. Everybody kept up appearances as far as their houses and lawns were concerned. There was no heroin or meth in the neighborhood, available to children anyway. You never heard about child molesters and if there was one, you never heard from them. There were alot of good things when the old school guys ran the show. You didnt have anything to worry about as long as you weren't a degenerate gambler, didnt borrow, or let your head get big. The neighborhood was a safe haven that may or may not have been ruled by corruption, but it seemed to be for the greater good.

Why play this music in the background? It gives the impression that the only ethnicities out there committing are Italians. If you put the shoe on any other foot people would cry foul due to racism. But, it is O.K. to say it about Italians. I'm down for law and order. Let us give attention to where attention is due. We have a huge problem with importation of Fentanyl coming out of Chinese and Indian labs. Thousands of deaths. Why doesn't Preet go after those groups? NOPE. Deanoss Last when people hear about them they’re either stupid or have done something that they can’t hide. It’s the ones you have not heard of that you won’t hear about that are the problem. It’s like Mexico cartels. People finally paid attention thirty years later and by the time they are making headlines the cartels are already making deals to get rid of that guy and nothing changes and government officials who usually have a toe in are the ones busting them acting like they solved something. The most ambitious have fast rises and falls. The ones who keep a low profile and are just steady stay the longest and sometimes never get caught

Who do I talk to about a show? My name is Tony and I’m a publicist for author Gunner Tocco-Lindbloom. He was an enforcer for the Detroit Mafia and ended up doing 13 years in prison, where he took up writing and ended up penning 9 novels. Today he’s a best-selling novelist who’s famous for having written what fans are calling “the next Godfather.” He also writes a series of short stories about his life growing up in Detroit’s Tocco crime family, his mother being Grace Tocco. Titled “The Lindbloom Chronicles,” the series has been read over 3 million times. A scripted TV series based on them is in the works. They would make for a great expose. Today, Gunner is a huge outdoor adventurist and even has a TV series coming out called “OFF THE CUFFS.” Gunner is also the founder and CEO of “OUR THING” Apparel. He has a new novel coming out, titled “The Snowman Chronicles,” about a pair of cocaine kingpins. He describes it as “Goodfellas meets Blow.” Gunner was also recently contracted to co-host Mob Movie Con in Atlantic City this August. He will be in charge of the writers, and hosting a series of interactive discussions with the fans, actors, and a cast of the worlds greatest true crime journalists. He is also a paid motivational speaker. His Bash page is below... www.thebash.com/inspirational-speaker/gunner-lindbloom-author-motivator-entertainer I’ve gotten many emails from people saying Gunner would be perfect for your series, so perhaps we can set something up. You can find information about Gunner at his website. Or google. He’s been featured on everything from Fox News to the Huffington Post. I’ll leave his website below and a link to the trailer for the doc being shopped on his life. You’ll love him. He is all business and has some mind blowing stories to share about money life, prison life, and life as a free man and celebrity writer. People love his incredible comeback story. Tony S. 161 G I wasn’t in a street gang. I’m Sicilian. I was born into a mafia family. I’m half Sicilian so I could never be “Made,” so I was never fully in the Mafia. But because of my blood, i was in the Mafia. I spent 13 years in prison. While there, all my bosses died. Old men. So when I got out, I just wanted a differnt life.
