You put too much emphasis on the few bad apples. 40 years ago, these bikers were my customers in Hayward, California. Over the course of more than 10 years, I never had a single problem with any of them. Most of them are hard-working guys who enjoy going out with their friends on the weekends and ride their amazing bikes.

Exactly! I grew up around HA, best people I know. I can't speak for other MCs but I'm guessing they're the same, always there for you. Sure, you might have some "bad apples" in a MC, but you got "bad apples" in the police, at your grocery store, everywhere. Many people think they are loud and violence but I think they're not at least not the members of iron order I met. They helped me find a really good old iron 883 when I was 17 and started having interest in motorcycle, they even helped me rebuild and upgrade it for free and believe me that upgrades is a work of art

Iron Order shouldn’t be in this list. They’re not 1%er, or into organized crime or prone to violence. They don’t bother anybody or claim any territory. If they get attacked, they will defend themselves but they’ll never start a problem with other clubs. They refuse to be governed by anyone’s protocols but their own and this has led to conflicts. IO is actually hated by most other 1% clubs because they are mostly law abiding and will not ask permission to do anything they have a right to do. In all honesty, it takes guts to even want to be in IO with that much heat against you but they still stand true to their beliefs and won’t be backed into a corner without defending themselves. They even let cops join if they prove they deserve their patch. Live and let ride, guys. You can’t ride your bike in jail or the cemetery. Is all the BS drama between clubs really worth it? Respect

"...instilling fear in all they meet...." You have clearly never met a 1%. Over the years I have met men from several clubs both on and off your list. They may a bit rough around the edges but have always been civil and often friendly. Unlike the police I have met, stroking their gun butts in an attempt to intimidate or appear tough, the bikers are simply who they are: take it or leave it. I have no record, no dealings with the law. I do feel both amusement and contempt for posers trying to appear TOUGH which is every cop I have ever encountered. 100% of the time I would trust a biker but never a cop.
