Gotta say I'm glad Jon's standing his ground and not overindulging Martin's vindictiveness. He doesn't feel right killing, and while he respect's Martin's wishes and feelings, it is ultimately Jon's choice and he's not letting himself be pushed into it. Also I love whoever voice acted Simon, top notch.

@@Dee-jp7ek idk I don't think it's right to say Jon "owed him it", murder is a pretty big deal. And something that makes you feel guilt. Jon shouldn't have to do it just because his boyfriend wants him to 🤷🏻‍♂️ if he wants to do it it should be his choice. I'd say Jon made it up to Martin when Martin walked off with Annabelle after a fight and Jon had to go after him and confront an avatar of the web, which is the entity that he's arguably the most afraid of/marked by right after the eye

Many MANY things I am in love with regarding this animatic so I'm going to have to pick my top few favourites to point out: - Jon's ace ring visible whenever his right hand is shown, beautiful perfect 12/10 detailing - Martin's body language (and his grumpy face) - Jon's extra eyes floating over his head that convey extra emotions/thoughts - Simon's imaginations of Peter and Elias - Helen being revealed in that second-to-last shot to show she's actually huge (I laughed so hard) I also just love your designs for everyone in general, this was such a lovely expressive piece of work

Its from a podcast called 'the magnus archives', dont want to spoil anything because its really good and you should def check it out. Basicly Simon manipulated martin earlier on which in his opinion helped to start the apocalypse that they are all now living in. Jon is the only one that can kill people who have powers in this reality and Helen is here for funsies.

Unpopular opinion but Martin was kinda a mega asshole to Jon throughout the entirety of their romantic relationship. Like, even after he well knew how thinks worked at that point he still managed to treat Jon like a burden when he had to do the statements and lets not forget that Martin encouraged AND came up with the idea for Jon to start killing and was so adimate about how "theyd be doing good" that he never really gave Jon space to decide if he actually wanted to do it. And then when it backfired Martin still dish take responsibility for it

Jon was the one who brought it up, he didn't quite realize what he was saying but he was the one who thought of the idea, I just listened to the episode, plus he's happy doing it when it's the ones he wants to gank like Jude. Martin just gets super supportive of killing them and tells him "Yeah, your right lets go kill bill on them" when he thinks that's what Jon wants and gets pouty when Jon doesn't kill fairechild (Who is by far one of the worst avatars when you re-listen to all the personal grief he's caused for statement givers while still being a sane human and I for one am glad the crowd turned on him and tore him apart). I'd say he only really got mad at him eating a statement 2 times when they weren't already fighting and that's in the burning building and when they are so close to finding daisy. Honestly neither of them were great, I don't think you can put all the blame on either, it was pretty bad circumstances.
