Hello Again! Magangué is a town and municipality in the Magdalena Department, Colombia. This Bolivarian municipality is known as "The Capital of the Rivers", since in this part of the country the Cauca and San Jorge rivers flow into the Magdalena. It was founded in 1610 by Diego de Carvajal, and refounded on October 28, 1776 by the Spanish soldier Antonio de la Torre y Miranda.
The city is the second most populated in the department of Bolívar after Cartagena and is located in the area with the highest number of swamps in the country. Despite this, the city's drinking water supply is poor.
In terms of transport infrastructure, its port connects the departments of Sucre and Córdoba with the Magdalena River.5 In 2016, construction work began on the "Puente Roncador", which is already built and in full operation; It is called by its length (2.3 km), as the longest in Colombia and connects Magangué with the momposina depression, and this with the center of the national territory.
On the other hand, along with other cities of the Department, Magangué hosted the National Sports Games of Colombia of 2019.
