Dave Formula (keyboards) John McGeoch (guitar) and Barry Adamson (bass ) = PERFECT.

What a band. McGeogh on guitar and Adamson on bass. And Howard was the best lyricist since Lou Reed wrote the early Velvets albums. So this is real life! So fantastic over 40 years later.

Real Life (1978) and The Correct Use of Soap (1980) are two of the best albums ever recorded. HowardDevoto4Ever.

Genius. I thought Howard Devoto looked weird. And then I saw Dave Formula. I saw them at the Victoria Palace Theatre in the early 80s. Robert Smith and Simon Gallup were in the audience with us.
