You are saving some color and texture pieces for your collages, can you please do the separate video showing your collage/background as well as the final pieces wich you did before. Thanks a lot! Watching all of your videos and charging my positivity from your channel. Have a nice end of the week!

Me too, love your magazine harvest. Gotta go to the library and check out their magazine recycle bin. Hoping it's back...they had stopped taking donations due to covid. I'm excited ☺️👍

I love the expressions on some of the models. You can tell they are thinking, 'What the hell have I got on this time?!' Oh well, I'm sure the massive pay cheques make up for it... Some of those suggestive poses they have to sit in too!... 😮 I've had another cutting out session where I've had to put my excess paper cuttings in the neighbour's recycling bin under cover of darkness! I had SO much, but it's such fun! 😁

Not sure why I think it’s a good idea to take a drink while I am watching your videos??? Between the hysterically snarky comments about the various clothing choices...or lack thereof and the fast forward squeaky voice perfectly executed, I kept spraying my drink or choking on it!🤣😂🤣😂 Super fun, as always! You just keep it real, and I LOVE IT!❤️

i love to harvest magazines - we all do it so differently - i wish i could show you my box of "pages" - i go thru and pull out what i find appealing - then put them into a large ziploc bag - then into the box they go - well my box is full - already started box 2 - but i then take out a bag - a make my piles for what the page is intended to be used for - then i file them into the appropriate envelope folders that are all labeled - then when i need something i know where to find it - be well Nicole - off to watch another one of your videos

Thank you Cecilia! Do you live in the US? If so you can get an app called “Recycle Bank” where you answer questions about recycling for points that you can redeem for free magazine subscriptions.

I find it interesting to see what different people like and “harvest”.... and to see what I would and wouldn’t take from their harvest material. You got some pretty neat images. =)

Just curious...how do you use the eyes and mouth?
@relaxcutglue4 жыл бұрын
Great question Cynthia! I usually put them on other faces to distort the image, or I use them in a random collage😃

I need to ask your opinion on something, since you are the image cutting guru, in my opinion.....I have one of those “Things to cut out and collage” books. Now, it has over 1500 images, would you fussy cut them all out, or wait til you need them to cut them out? My first instinct is to cut them all out, but that’s A LOT of images, and I’m not sure how to store them, because they are random things. Please help, I need your advice. Thanks so much...Tiffany

Hellloooo Tiffany! Such a great question! I have that same book, and I’m not going lie, it REALLY intimidated me at first. It took another KZbinr in one of my live streams to encourage me to rip the pages out and start cutting out the images. For me personally, I would use the images more if they were all pre cut. When I’ve left them in the book, I forget I even have it, and dont use the images. So pre cutting is my go to process. Everyone stores their images differently for what works for them and their collaging style. I like to organize my images in stackable baskets from the dollar tree by size. I have my medium-large (anything larger than about 5”) images in one basket, small (about ATC size) in another and then Tiny (under 2”) in another. I like baskets/bins because I like to rummage through them until an image catches my eye. When I first started I thought I had to organize my Images into categories, but that is soooo time consuming! It just wasn’t for me. I do from time to time keep “like” images together. For example, I love using eyes and mouths a lot. So sometimes I keep those two items in their own basket because it’s just quicker for me to find an image I want. If organizing by category works for you then go for it! You can use file folders, ziploc baggies, binder page protectors, photo storage boxes, Tupperware, envelopes, etc to organize them. I hope this helped answer your questions. If not, please don’t hesitate to let me know! I’m so happy to help anytime❤️🥰 Hugs!
