Just tried this and worked pretty well. One of the gold snaps didn’t want to come out and ended up getting pulled off of the plastic but was able to bend it back into place. All worked out well in the end. Thanks.

have you tried removing it? I am worried to damage the tablet. I found with an iphone pro max in a case that it sits too close to the screen and overlaps slightly with it. So something worth considering checking before sticking the charger on the screen/tablet :)

It won’t damage the tablet. I have the promax and it does overlap a bit but doesn’t block anything on the screen.

I saw from another magbak charger review they pulled the entire center console out to route the cable. i do like how you unscrewed the torq 20 screws to feed the cable inside. Have the charger coming Wednesday, appreciate you sharing.

I love magbak and had their cases for many years prob the best case I've ever bought but I got the regular steering wheel. I WISH they could do something on the left side of steering wheel for tesla ;/

Because Tesla's wireless charging pad are crap. Slow charging, finicky charging coil placement.

I recently bot a magbak for my iphone 15 but the case is far too smooth and slippery. I am in the process of trying to return it but the Magbak site does not recognize my email or order #. Also there is no telephone support number or email support on their site. This sucks.

Do not buy the phone charger holder for model Y! The placement is behind the steering wheel and you can’t even see the phone! Not even sure why they would sell it to anyone. Total waste of money.
