@@davidortiz3094 I doubt that. Bao didn't change much from pre to post and she nearly one shot yonko Blackbeard herself which would have been insane to say pre timeskip. His venom doesn't get weaker and they needed an antidote to survive so the vapors alone would still end a majority of characters especially those who weren't in the arc. Even trying to sneak up on him would be a disaster as the venom would make you cough or get weaker so you'd need to fight from a distance which megallan can already do too. And don't get me started on an enclosed space he auto wins there

@chessnotcheckerz4091 Magellan might have been more capable with that venom demon. It's self spreading, and he has those poison hydras that can reach anywhere. Demon poison spreads to an area, creating a poison hydra from it to launch an attack at a new angle or through a wall. What was possibly stopping Magellan was concern for the staff and structural integrity of the prison. That and crippling diarrhea. No one in the building he needs to care about in a building that he doesn't need to worry about, and he might have been able to turn the entire level of that prison into toxic masonry. As long as the effort doesn't trigger another case of the runs. A highly deadly, self-replicating poison that spreads itself that can be morphed into a demon golem puppet thing that can attack on a person's whim. Where do you go from there? Doffy can make the environment his strings, and Katakuri can make the environment his mochi. Magellan can already make the environment poison. He's awakened.

I think the haki thing with doc q was possible because his "sickness" looks more like a curse, not an actual biological sickness. So its effect is more magical and less physical. But in magellan's case that poison was purely a biological effect.

I never liked Law negating Docs ability with Haki. I wish strong Haki would prevent you from being influenced by a DF ability, but once you let you guard down and you were hit, you can't just reverse that by using Haki 😢

Hey Tekking! Big fan! Funny you mention Australian animals at the end! Fun fact, I'd been bitten here by the second most toxic snake in the world here (eastern Brown snake). The feeling was interesting! It was a really painful born emanating from the bite (my right foot), and I could feel the venom rising up my leg with a tingling and burning sensation. Thankfully I survived but it certainly was an experience! Funnily enough about the same time the year prior I did eat pufferfish in Japan too! As a child I held a blue ringed octopus (they have enough neurotoxins to kill 24 men or something rather!) maybe I'm just immune to poison! Thank you for the video, Magellan is a unit. Could imagine him going a hydra gatling gun. It would be terrifying

I always assumed that the Venom Demon / that reddish poison mode was his awakening, although it was never stated, since this was before awakenings were really a thing. Standard ability - Generate poison and poison living things Awakened anility - Poisoning inanimate objects that continuously spreads, basically turning his surroundings into poison.

Magellan's so fucking cool. His fruit, already strong as it is, synergises really well with his workplace, too. Firstly yes hell and pain and all that. But it's also rendered way more effective. In a wide open battlefield his airborne toxins would've probably been more easily dispersed, and depending on what methods you have available to you you can keep your distance from him as you fight him. And that'd really be his main weakness. In Impel Down though? Good luck escaping venom hydra or doku gumo inside a cramped corridor. He's even _more_ terrifying down there.

Natural poisons usually do. And they get usually less lethal, because the slow decomposition destrois the lethal compounds. Also sometimes they have a expiration date, because the poison is solved in a expireable solution...
