Lynx is the youngest Landau sibling. That's right, she's the sister of Serval and Gepard. Notice how they are all named after cat species (Gepard means cheetah in Russian). It's a nod to the famous Soviet physicist Lev Landau (Lev means lion"). Lynx is a healer. Her main thing is that her ultimate can cleanse a debuff from the whole party at the same time. IIRC she's the only mass cleanser. Also, when she uses her skill on a Destruction or Preservation ally, enemies become more likely to target them. This is a good way to deflect enemy aggression away from your fragile supports, as Preservation units are tanky, and many Destruction characters get benefits from being attacked.

Mage, if you got the "Landaus Choice" Lightcone which is a preservation lightcone that has two children on it. Those two are kid Serval and Gepard, serval protecting lil geppy from his fathers punishment. Also fun fact, Lightcones are memories stored in these technological cards which boosts the power of the user in canon. So lightcones descriptions tells the stories of what happens on the pictures of the lightcones. So when you see a lightcone with a design that intrigues you or if there is a character you want to learn more about, you can read lightcone descriptions of lightcones which have those characters on their pictures. Also relics also have lore in their description and some relics are dedicated to some characters, giving out stories of them.

Story Team + Side Content Team is a doubly good idea because all the "challenge content" like the Forgotten Hall you're starting to get into require you to run two teams simultaneously. So even if there are protestors saying 'you can't upgrade EVERYONE," you gotta have at least 8 strong units once the two-team content starts

I def vibe with using a "story party,” I def did the same, but just TBF the Acheron team will still provide a challenge where you are in the game because your characters don't yet have the major traces unlocked that really supercharge their kit. If nothing else I'd suggest using her to clear the map for farming every so often (but only once you've crafted a bunch of the Trick Snack items that refill technique points). Her technique makes it super efficient to run around and grab free materials like trace mate, credits and exp. I'm envious that you have the chance to do that so early 😅 It's also just really fun, turns into realtime combat lmao

Nice thing about Gallagher is that he doesn't need a lot of fancy stuff. In fact his best lightcone is available for free in Forgotten Hall shop (you get the currency by doing Forgotten hall, Memory of Chaos - which refreshes regularly every few weeks but it's unlocked only after Forgotten Hall level 15, Pure Fiction mode similar to MoC and weekly bosses). He has flat scaling so only his traces really matter and if you upgrade his special talent his healing gets buffed by break effect substats. So basically you can put Meteor relics on him with whatever defensive stats you have which have break effect in substats and he will be amazing. I know a lot of people are sceptical about 4* healers and how they will perform with more difficult content but safe to say he is doing a great job. I took mine, not fully leveled for a ride on new Simulated Universe World 9 highest difficulty for funsies not expecting anything but yeah he's doing just great. Also don't worry about leveling too many characters, in fact it's really good to have lots of options to choose from. Leveling after level 60/70 gets significantly harder but you have all the time in the world to farm, the farming never ends in fact 😂 Side note, I finished new 2.1 main story and I cannot wait for you to experience it, the best storyline they ever created so far

A little tip for those circuit puzzles if you don't mind. The immovable red hexes need "current" flowing into them from the indicated paths. I've found it can be easier starting at the red ones and sort of tracing the necessary paths back to the source (so basically working backwards). You were so close to solving that one puzzle before you gave up!

Using story-related characters for story stuff is great. Don't worry what people say about what characters you use, just use whatever you like. As long as you have some type of sustain (a healer, or a tank) then you can clear the main story quests pretty easy. There's no need to have to min/max team composition until you get into end-game stuff, or if you're trying to do stuff under-levelled (or trying harder floors of SU... I watched your stream the other day lol).

And yeah, the Temporary Early Access thing is the game's way of letting newer players get upgrade materials for rate-up characters even if they haven't unlocked the faming nodes normally. They change with each banner cycle, so once the current ones close, you'll be locked out from Acheron and Gallagher's materials for a while.

regarding the surprise jade for just fixing some mistaken text, most gacha games will give out "apologems" for any kind of maintenance or even minor bug fixes. a way to show good will and compensate if for whatever reason players were unable to play for a time, or if their experience was impacted negatively in any way

Having a story party is exactly what I do as well, I also enjoy running the MC for the main stuff. I do hope you play the character quests on the main channel, those will be fun to watch. By the way I don't know if anyone mentioned but on the fates atlas if you click on a mission on the timeline it will tell you what point during the main story a character quest takes place :)

Even now in 2.1 I still have my "Story Team" with the MC and characters of the region/in the story so don't worry about it. As long as you're having fun and not suffering too much in the fights haha.

don't know if anyone mentioned that but you can actually stuck up on techniques before entering combat since there are a few types of techniques like the ones that buff you, impair your enemies and ones that straight up attack them end enter the fight :)

I’m glad ur using pela and I know you don’t no all tech in the game but for pela there is a lightcone that plants a def down debuff on that target when she attacks and it makes her so much more amazing. You basically only use her basic get the debuff then build her ult to def down everyone and she is so skill point positive she’s amazing and I’d say she’s the best 4 star unit in the game.

Definitely don't feel bad about spreading your XP around, I'd say most people end up leveling most characters to lvl 20 and then 40 for the free standard pulls you get for relatively low investment anyways.

Acheron's light cone is REALLY good on her, especially when you don't have many other options. I definitely think it is worth it since you have the jades. As for SP-- you have the right idea, it is better to have a party that has balanced SP usage, so usually that's 2 SP users and 2 producers. That can be a dps/sub-dps paired with two sustain units (healer/shielder/etc), or a dps/buffer, and so on. Having 3-4 SP users will end up losing you DPS in the long run.

Really good episode. I like how you take time to explain everything before doing anything. Also in the next episode, You should consider leveling up Gallagher as much as you can if you wanna have an easier time. Because you're gonna need fire, quantum, lightning characters not gonna say why and spoil. Also some enemies have resistance to certain elements. You can check enemy weakness details before entering battle while you're not spotted by them. When enemy within your range there's pop up thingy on top your screen where you can see enemy details.

For Gallagher to get a lot of healing you need to give him relic sets that focuses on break effect and upgrade his traces which need a high ascension (level 70+ I think). So probably he will only start to be really good later in the game. However, these things never matter if you like the character I guess because I still use my Blade everywhere even though his traces are not that high of a level yet because he's my suicidal husbando

Ooh and yes that's very good about the fuel your intuition is in the right place. Save it for sure. It is such a vital end game resource and does absolutely nothing for you early game except enable impatience in leveling characters. I'm quite sure others will have save said this but you'll ideally want to wait until at least trailblaze level 60 (you get more mileage at 65 but judiciousness prevails). Especially since you are not on the paid battle pass.

Investing into Acherons lightcone is a good idea since its one of her best upgrades, it increases a third of her entire damage output. I dont recommend Luocha for now since it looks like the next featured 5 star will be a straight upgrade to Luocha.

You shouldn't use Simulated Universe experience to gauge the unit effectiveness in the main game. By their nature Blessings are quite literally game changers. They can alter how a character performs to such an extent that it might as well be a completely different character. For example, there's a blessing that makes attacks deal additional damage based on the HP of the character, which turns tanks and healers into fighters. Besides, the stats and AI of enemies are also altered in the SU, so they aren't the same as their main game counterparts either.

My friend, I see you really want Himeko (who wouldn't) and that is why I recommend you to do the standard banner warps constantly, because once you get to the 300th pull of that banner you are eligible to choose one 5 star character from it, one of them being Himeko. It sounds like a chore but fate might even give her to you in between those many chances. However, as most players would recommend it would be best for you to pick Bronya but this is your game, your journey, it is your choice on who you pick.

I would also like to add I know you want to use the characters that are in the story as you play along but ur going to run into some issues with that. As you level up the world level will also increase you will be switching to multiple characters that will start to drain your resources. That isn’t the biggest issue though there are gonna be some fights in the game where it’s just going to be hard if you don’t use optimal teams. I think you can tell from this episode this team isn’t that good but there will be bosses that you will need to defeat to progress the story and the game expects you to develop at least one strong team to beat it and you won’t be able to progress until you do.

Having an idea of two teams you want to use is not a terrible idea, all of the end game content requires two built parties (spoiler? is that too much information in advance? idk) so it's not a horrible idea to get an idea of two sets of units you want to use in gameplay.

Acheron is a character devs made to let people have fun where it matter, since she can instantly kill enemies. You can use her in the future, yes. If you feel like the game is slowing you down from progressing the story. But you'll need a lot of energy😮 so it's a great choice you avoid using her for now. Because you doesn't have much materials to synthesize energy items yet at the beginning😅 and for you to learn about enemies mechanic along the way. ❤🎉

Hey Mage u can lvl how many characters u want. I think from lvl 60 to 70 is surely expensive in exp books and credits. If u just wanna try out characters and lvl them to 30/40 is nothing in comparison to high level, so don't worry about that.

hey mage just a tip: If you're fighting bosses be sure to use buff techniques for your party if have one. and used food buffs in your inventory or synthesize one so It doesn't take all of your time.

In my opinion, I would hold off on trying for Luocha. He is an amazing healer, but you already have plenty of those. If you aren’t waiting for anyone else currently, I would suggest pulling for Aventurine in a few weeks. He is a preservation unit (so he shields) and sometimes, you really need shielding more than healing. (He is also really cool and an amazing character and I love him, but that part is subjective 😂)

I always use my Trailblazer when doing new content, it feels more.. immersive that way. With that big ol gift of gems you got, if anyone can really use a signature light cone, it's Acheron, simply because she's a new.. type of Nihility unit, so currently there aren't GREAT choices for her. (Not needed, no pressure :P), and Gallagher is considered good for her since he puts debuffs on enemies, which builds her flowers faster, you can also buy a really good LC for him from the Forgotten Halls shop with a currency you earn there. Yeah Pela is great, the only current AOE defense shred and can be played very Skill Point friendly. I like the dynamic between Gepard and Serval, well written.

Mage i can't remember what the nihility LC does, but you can buy Lightcones from the forgotten hall shop for 200 shards might take you a while to grind. they are all 4* LC's not sure if they are better than what you have ATM.

Once you level up Gallagher you'll have 2 whole teams, and will be ready to start approaching the 2-team Forgotten Hall and Pure Fiction game modes, which lead to tons of rewards. Don't feel rushed or anything, you'll start doing that with lv60 chars or so, just good to know you're ahead of the curve. You may not be able to resist using Acheron in story content tho, she's so much fun xdd

the game difficulty increases in geometric progression. if you neglect building characters as max as you can, you will find yourself in a pinch at some point. (in your case, you rarely ascend lightcones, which is crucial mistake). At least raise traces level to max for DPS characters you are using, this will help a lot

Gallagher probably won't be so good at the start of the game as he wants his traces unlocked to be actually useful and traces want you to go all the way to level 80 to fully unlock. Using Natasha or Lynx on early game is much better. For acheron Gepard is very good, aventurine is gonna be good (the next shielder which will come out) because he gives crit buffs and he can use a lightcone which applies debuffs while giving lot's of effect resistance and a thick shield. Black Swan is really good for Acheron, the character you lost the 50/50 on Welt. The one you like to use in calyx. Black swan and Kafka together make it possible to get acheron her ult back in no time (Black swan is a must if you want to use Kafka in acherons team because every time kafkas uses her skill she explodes all the dots on the enemy and applieas one more of Black Swans dot which gives acheron one ult stack.) also Acherons own lighcone is very good, I recommend pulling it if you like using her. Her lightcone gives one debuff each attack so using a basic attack will recover one ult stack while using her skill will recover 2 ult stacks. Her lightcone also gives 36 crit damage so without any relics her base crit damage becomes over 110.
