Kind of goes to show you what they were doing with that ending. Saving negan was the right choice. Forgiveness trumps even when it’s the hardest fucking thing you have to do. Rick and Ellie both knew executing them wasn’t right. It doesn’t make it right. It doesn’t give them back. Like Rick said, we get to come back. Ellie and Rick weren’t too far gone, but they almost were. Forgiveness allows you to maintain that humanity that you still have, and that shit reflects onto everyone else. Look at negan today. Rick and Ellie’s decisions are incredibly mature and allows them to eventually find peace within themselves, as well as breaking a vicious cycle of revenge.

I understand Maggie’s pain, but Rick sparing Negan is the most poetic and well written scene in the entire series. Fast forward, Negan killed Alpha and helped Darryl finish Beta. Negan helped Maggie attack the reapers and take them down. Was willing to sacrifice himself to save the group from the CW in the labor camp. Rick made the TOUGHEST CALL, which was fighting for peace. However, a lot of people didn't agree with his decision, which is why Rick got lost after the bridge explosion because others still held a grudge, which they could never see the bigger picture

Forced..ratings prove that I'm not the only one who lost interest. This was the series finale for me..tried season 9,didn't work at all,no rick no care
