I think it's interesting that so many people are like, "They would never. " , and maybe in a "normal" world that's true. But it's not a normal environment . It really proves Negan's point of "Maybe we're *all* the 'bad' guy." You'd have to be, or you'd not make it. I've watched every episode of this excellent series The Walking Dead since it started in 2010! I really like all the characters, but there are four characters that I'm a big fan of: Carol (the beautiful and excellent actress Melissa McBride), Maggie (the beautiful and excellent actress Lauren Cohan), Negan (the excellent actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Daryl (the excellent actor Norman Reedus). What a shame that the official series of The Walking Dead is over! I really like this zombie thing and this series went deep into this subject!👍🏼

Perhaps their duet seemed to me the most interesting in season 11. This is something new and sad. She is hurt and she hates, having every right to do so, and he is trying to atone for his guilt and regrets. I love Glenn, I didn't want him to die, but he died, and now it hurts.But he won't fix anything, and she won't bring back the one she loves. This is a nice comment about them. I have this vague dream that they could become a couple, but in a realistic way, and I don't know exactly how they could realistically bring that about, probably in a very tragic way, with maybe an ending where Maggie and Negan both die, where they're forced, or something like that, I think that would be interesting, because it would be unprecedented in the fandom and even in a lot of fandoms, and the show needs some boldness at this point.

I never liked Glenn. So I didn't care about his death and Abraham's death. And let's be honest the world is different in this TV show. It's apocalypse world. So teem "normal" changed, mental reactions adapted. What was impossible became possible. Even this ship. But everyone keeps saying that Maggie can't love the killer of her husband and bla bla bla... I think Negan may not chose Maggie. She is badass woman, and I guess he likes it, but he is just a man and he will chose a woman who actually likes him. Like alpha or Annie or Lucille. @MissEleanorVane I don't hate Maggie at all. I just don't see her as a better person comparing to Negan. For me they are the same. Both have difficult past. He is definitely not a hero, but neither is she. And in tv show 11 season her people often told that she is great leader and a great person. That's debatable. I guess most people, who survived, are bad, and they fight with each other and they fight with those people who are much worse. It doesn't mean that they can't love or care. But they are still bad people.

We can't say that it's happening, do the writers play with the idea of it ? Hell sure, they does, because they know how that kind of things work, the most popular of the shows of those last years proved it, the most controversial relationships are always the most interesting, the most loved and the ones who bring the most of reaction. He was kidnapped by a man who used to work for Negan, named the Croat, who asks Maggie to capture Negan if she wants to see her son alive again, he is held hostage throughout the first season of Dead City where he is tortured and undergoes a strange brainwashing by people above the Croat who want Negan to use him as a sort of image, that he plays the leader that he once was, and they plan to use Glenn and Maggie's son against him, with the brainwashing that he underwent. At the end of season 1, Negan sacrifices himself to allow Hershel and Maggie to leave, but Hershel is not truly free, given the conditioning of which he is now prisoner.

TWD fandom is certainly a mixed bag and the writers are known to do chaotic things like killing Carl. But I personally don't think Maggie would ever get involved with Negan romantically.
